Apparently his top 3 will be UT, LSU, and Ole Miss...

Bates was a headhunter. Honestly we havent had a good cover safety in a while.

I thought UGA was confident on him as well?

I wish we kept Bates at safety..

Couldn't cover...

The more I look at it, the more I think he's not a SEC caliber player. Too small for LB, too bad with coverage in the secondary. He could sure pack a punch from the safety position, though. He knocked Ingram out of the 2009 Iron Bowl, and up-ended Richardson inside the 20. You NEVER see TR take a blow like that, EVER.

He's also gotten much slower since he made the move.

Holland is slower than Josh Bynes by half a second cannot cover and he takes the worst angles I have ever seen.

So his top 3 are a team he had all but written off a month ago, a team he more or less visited for shits and gigs and that lacks a proven QB and WR coach, and Ole Miss. For some reason I just find that hard to believe...

Yeah and I thought CP said he no longer had interest in UT. Surprising...

Exactly he is too small for LB and cannot cover, but honestly he IMO is similar to Neiko Thorpe. He is about the same in coverage, but a better hitter. He brought energy to the secondary

Per a direct quote from Patterson today, he has 5 finalists which are the 5 schools he visited. I think they're a little bit delusional...

Many of them felt confident about Edwards based on his host being Tyrann Mathieu.

He supposedly told the LSU writers his top 3 in an interview they haven't posted yet or something like that

Why the frick would a kid who has all but said he is looking to play 1 year of D1 ball want to play WR for LSU?

That's not at all why. In fact, that is probably the least reason why they are excited. We have good reason to be excited about Edwards. Confident? Too soon to tell.

Because you want to play with an unproven QB in a Les Miles offense.

This from the fanbase who somehow knows better than UGA fans like me and the others on this board who adamantly follow UGA insider practice notes that Mett was clearly going to be the starter over Murray before he got kicked off. As was said earlier, I think they're just having a really hard month and clinging to what they can

From the UGA camp, it is said to be coming back to a UGA/UT battle again, the reason being that his mom lives in rock hill, SC and just wants to be able to watch her son play

To be fair, look at his top schools:

LSU- you covered

UGA- Good QB, lose no WRs, so no telling how many reps he'll get

AU- He could start, but unproven QB

Ole Miss- no QB

UT- Stacked and deep at WR

Denver Broncos are looking for run blocking WRs

Well they don't have Nutt anymore, but no OM wouldn't be in my top 50 if I were a JUCO WR with offers from pretty much everybody.
Kind of a strange situation. I think he might just want to go somewhere that he knows for a fact he would be the #1 option.
