Quite frankly, I haven't kept up and have no idea what the situation or rule is. I just saw where we are allegedly hoping for the SEC to grant an emergency or expedited waiver and that just didn't sound like something to put too much hope in. I hope you are right.

The Chiz is batting .1000 with waviers so far at AU. Go we got that going for us.

Didn't get the one for Blakely that would have allowed him to play last season. I think that was with the NCAA though, not the SEC.

Just my take on it, but Auburn gets 2 solid recruits, makes them a stronger team in the SEC, which makes the SEC stronger.

If recruiting was that big of a priority, they wouldn't have instituted the rule this year.

And I highly doubt the SEC office cares about Auburn recruiting.

I did forget about that. .500 at too bad.
Esp his hit was allowing Newton to keep playing.

That's the same as .100 which is a terrible batting average. I think you mean 1.000.

Rumor picking up on UF boards that JaQuay will officially visit UF this weekend. Any AU boards saying anything close to that?

Looks like Armstead decision will be delayed another day or two. Armond said "Arik needs more time." #ND #Auburn

The delay, said Williams, "doesn't bother me at all."

"It's not a problem. I didn't fall in love with a coach. I feel in love with Auburn."

Still, Williams didn't completely rule out taking a recruiting visit somewhere else before signing day on Feb. 1. Could he follow top recruit and Stefon Diggs to Florida this weekend? Possible.

Diggs was in Auburn over the weekend and came away impressed.

JLee just reported that Arik will decide later in the week. Please don't be Cyrus Kouandjio 2.0...

So there could be some truth to the rumors, but it will probably just be a courtesy visit by JaQuay.

Either way, I see this as good news for us. Armond wants to go to ND, but Arik is torn between Auburn and ND. Us being fresh on Arik's mind has to help us out a ton.

Not sure this is true. ND has a boatload of talent/bodies along the Dline. He would have a better chance of playing time at AU. Would probably start at the 3tech DT spot, or at least psuh Wright for playing time.
