Former USC QB Jaxson Dart (4*, top 100 recruit) reportedly enrolls at Ole Miss

Big get for the Rebels. We didn't have much depth at QB looking ahead to next season, but adding Dart in the transfer portal gives us two legitimate options (Luke Altmeyer) that will duke it out in a QB battle.
It is also believed that former USC TE Michael Trigg (4* top 150 recruit) is part of a package deal with Dart. Would also be a huge get and an instant upgrade at TE for the Rebels.
None of this is official as of now, but we'll know for sure no later than this weekend, since the winter enrollment period ends next Monday.

I would have gone to Oklahoma if I were him, but thats more about the league they play in than anything else because the coaching he gets will be close in quality at either if not in OM's favor a bit.

If he is a no go to OM because of that then hes a no go to Bama, Clemson, Texas, and UGA because they all brought in stud freshmen QBs this year, and Texas brought in a likely 2 year starter transfer QB.

This has nothing to do with manning, in fact, ole miss has seen him three times in the past two weeks

Likely doesn't have anything to do with whether Manning comes here. Wouldn't be the first time a highly talented QB went to a school and had some competition for the starting QB job.
FWIW, I have zero clue where Arch Manning will go. Seems like there are 5 or 6 schools who are legitimate contenders.

Trigg and dart are 2 nice pickups, especially this late in the game.

Our friggin compliance people almost screwed this one up. It would have been done literally a week ago but Ole Miss has a policy of count failure in a P/F against your GPA. Dart had to get USC to remove the class from his record so he could transfer.
