5* five years ago. He's been nothing but depth at UGA.

Sounds like just the kind of player that will go gangbuster for us if history serves

Curious what some of the true issues are with him as to why he hasn't been able to see the field much. The physical tools are there. He had a solid freshman year at Cal, then basically nothing.

Well, hopefully it is one of those things where 3rd time's the charm and it can all come together for him.

Congratulations. He seems to be a good kid. We just couldn't get him the ball enough. I hope things work out well for him.

That was more of a us problem, than a him problem. He has skills if Auburn can get him the ball.

There is definitely opportunity for him at Auburn. We have some good young talent at WR, but very little experience.

Feels like a guy who I could have seen playing in Gus' offense running speed sweeps.

Be curious to see how he fits now with Harsin. He issue at UGA was injuries and inability to block. I'm guessing Harsin and Bobo insist on those guys blocking, too. But he's certainly explosive.

100% a kid Gus would have recruited and used for nothing but speed sweeps.

I think first and foremost he is going to be leadership and experience in the locker room. Harsin uses guys like that. Khalil Shakir did a ton of different stuff in their offense. My initial guess would be that he is competing for that role in the offense, probably get a look at kick return too.

He's a good kid and I wish him luck at Auburn. I think UGA didn't use him to his full potential and his injuries and drops didn't help his case either.

When was he injured and had drops? He made the most out of how UGA used him. I wished he'd stayed but I really hope he balls out on everyone except on Oct 9th(still feels strange).

Actually, if I recall correctly, his very first play at UGA was a jet sweep and he went something like 40 yards.

We demanded our WRs block a good amount and he struggled with that early on. But he does seem like a good kid, and improved his blocking a bit, but by that time we had gotten a lot of good receivers and he fell behind after that. As stated he got dinged up a bit after that.

Let me preface this by saying, I like DRob and hope he has success at Auburn in every game that we don't see him. But this was too funny not to post as it just feeds into the narrative...

Felony charges follow Georgia transfer Demetris Robertson to Auburn

If you get past the headline, you can see it's a horseshite felony... so hopefully he doesn't have any issues getting it cleared up.

Pretty classless headline by Chip Towers IMO.

I don’t think he writes the headlines but it’s not surprising because it’s the AJC

However bad that headline is, not sure anything is less intellectually dishonest than this article re: DRob's transfer.

This is a bad article that I wish I had never given one of my clicks to.

Actually, can you guys give us this one as him being a felon? Should give us at least a 3 point ppg boost.
