Trailing FSU & Miami by a mile. Thought Merlin would be killing it personally.

It’s not surprising, Dan Mullen is different I can’t imagine he’s good with teenagers. Hevesy his right hand man is an a-hole of epic proportions, he can’t be good either. Gonzales, Knox, Scott, Robinson, English, Warren, Johnson, Not a lot of Proven recruiting chops there. Sunseri is the only one that seems to be pulling his weight so far. I can’t imagine this staff does better than maybe 9-12 range. Mullen will have to surround himself with better recruiters if he wants to win championships, that’s just all there is to it.

They should be concerned. His two biggest rivals are FSU and UGA if he isn't recruiting on par with those two he won't be there long. Both of those schools have relentless recruiters, any finish outside the top ten isn't going to cut it.

I expected recruiting to be going slightly better at this point, but I am encouraged by the amount of interest we seem to be getting. We’ll see what that turns into. We do need to be in a better position before the start of the season.

That’s the problem though, he won’t do it. He won’t fire his best friends or “the country club”. It was one of the biggest things holding him back at State. I mean people would have to literally hide Hevesy when recruits came that’s how bad he was. You’ll always pull solid QBs but struggle with Wr and OL.

Hell SC is putting together a top 10-15 class right now as well

I would be very concerned. Mullen will be on a very short leash at Florida IMO. They can't offered more mediocrity. It's been that way since they made Meyer quit!

Most of our targets are still going through their process. I will begin to worry if they start committing to other schools.

I have no reason to doubt you, if that continues to be the case though, he will be out of a 6 million a year job and his buddy Stricklin will get shown the door also. There is no reason to not recruit well at UF, especially with the new facilities we are building. To your other point Wide Reciever will be fine there is way to much instate talent not to be as long as they aren’t dumb. Offensive line is a whole other ballgame, Florida doesn’t produce a ton of quality OL in the first place. We have to land at least some of the best in state talent, and Hevesy simply isn’t getting it done. Something has to give.

I’m going to go out on a limb and assume you’re all trolling and not just complete morons. You realize he hasn’t coached a game as the HC of Florida yet right?

Boom took a class ranked 63rd to 26 in 3 weeks when he was hired...your excuses are weak

Agreed, you would think the whole Mac needs time for 3 years thing would get old but when a new coach arrives it’s the same stuff he needs time to show recruits what he can do blah blah blah. You can either recruit or you can’t, Mullen needs to get it done with the staff he has this year, he lost the grace period he could have had when he let our best Recruiter Sieder go. These are his guys he needs to produce.

Mullen finished 2018 with the highest ranked transition class in UF history. He got a few guys BAMA was after like Copeland and Langham, so I think he will be fine as a recruiter. Even Meyer didnt have a lot of recruits at this point of his first year. Not saying he gets a pass or no reason to be anxious, just saying its too early to panic. Lets see how it plays out before launching FireMerlin.com

Your logic is dumb as shite. We are talking about Mullen’s ability to recruit.
Has Coach Muschamp ever been questioned as a recruiter? No.
Stick with what we are talking about.
