For rapping the N word.

They were probably looking for a reason to pull it, with Rashada coming in this year and possibly Lagway next year.

Geezus. This kind of opens Pandora’s Box for UF. Every time a current player does this, will they be kicked off?

The really stupid part of this was him posting it to social media. I don’t like it either, but don’t do something stupid like that regardless if it’s a hard -er or soft -a.

Kid is stupid for posting the video.

But Florida looks like a bigger dumbass for using that to pull his scholarship.

The double standard is fricking stupid.

If you didn't want him, just pull the offer like a big boy.

That’s corporate America for you. We all know that. Any “acceptable” excuse to get rid of you, especially when you’re sub-par. In Stoke’s case, a low 4 star recruit with shitty senior year stats. (With a high 4 star in waiting).

Average class ranking went from 91.97 to 92.09, Room to bring in some more elite recruits…can’t keep losing to Vandy and the likes.

Definitely stupid on his part but it opens up UF to other issues down the road

Yeah. They wanted to pull the scholarship it seems and used that as the excuse. I hope he balls out to whatever school he attends.

He is stupid for opening himself up to that possibility. The world is a crazy place, and I don't like it, but I am not about to fight it by myself. I like money.

Words should never be banned in America- for anyone. Polite speech doesn't need protection- impolite speech does.

That being said, if you're going to impose these "rules", do it across the board. Should a kid be ostracized for buying materials that contain that word, as well? Where does this end?

Society demands equality, as it should. Make it real.

I'm not naive, I know the real reasons why we pulled his offer, but being white and recording yourself saying the N word with a hard R and then posting it on social media in this day and age is playing an awfully stupid game.

It didn't even look like he said anything, just lip synced it.

Is Sunbelt Billy going to pull offers from the black athletes too? Or is it ok for them to use the N word?

I'm willing to bet it wasn't Billy's decision.

Reportedly, Stokes himself didn’t release the video.

Also, decision was not only Billy’s.
