That is SO weird.

I didn't know The Aggies recruited for defense.
Well, you learn something new every day I guess...

He was still unsure as of yesterday. I don't really like his decision, but he thinks Yates can give him the tools he needs for the league.

I'll eat crow on this one for laughing off the prospect of it happening. Still mind boggling decision for a kid that hasn't even met his HC, been to the school or state he is going to, and hasn't met any of his teammates.

Really odd. Boise is a great town but it is an awfully big move for a guy from outside of Dallas that has never been there.

I would have laughed it off also. It's weird and something that rarely happens.

Not all of us but I do find it strange. Kid and Yates must have a pretty strong bond. Oh well now we got to go to work and flip someone.

I sure as hell wasn't worried. Who the hell leaves your home state, a SEC school, a ranked school, and a team that there is a good chance to play early for fricking Boise. You know a place where you've never met the HC and a school & state you've never even visited.

Kind of stings. Good luck to him, but I expect him to regret this decision.

If he was committed to one coach, you're better off without him. We had some of that problem last year.

To you TAMU fans, this is in response to a post in your recruiting thread, since I'm not able to post there.

I'll tell you that it won't affect your WM recruiting at all. It's been expected for a few weeks that he would be let go if DSG went to Boise, because he was pushing DSG there thinking he would get the DB coaching job. Sumlim told him as much when it first came out that DSG was considering flipping.

But yea, even the WM staff is shocked that Dylan went through with the flip. There aren't any bridges burned there because of the GA.
