Former #1 WR recruit. Went to Cal. Now he's coming home. I believe he has two years left.
Looks like he has 3 years left. Big get for us. Hopefully he can play this season. Awaiting word from everyone's favorite organization, the NCAA.

He was a freshman all American in 2016. Medical redshirt following sports hernia surgery for 2017 season. Will be a redshirt sophomore.
NCAA appeal for immediate eligibility was initiated by UGA ~2 weeks ago. Anything is possible, but most likely he is eligible for 2019.
Elite talent. Will be our WR1 as soon as he is eligible.

Really nice pick-up. Ole Miss was blocked from talking to him because we play Cal next year. Our WR coach is Jacob Peeler of course, the coach who got him to pick Cal over UGA the first time.

Savannah and Berkeley are quite different in geography and culture. Sounds like he got homesick.

Yeah, I don’t think you were blocked. The new transfer rule is a notify rule not request rule. Transfers don’t need permission anymore. You can’t block.
