Clemson football is done as an elite team that consistently competes for National Championships, and Dabo knows it.

Education has ALWAYS been last at programs in basketball or football where the product is elite sans Stanford.
Not throwing shad at any program but for example Bama recruits be driving brand new 40k cars/trucks etc the moment they step on campus. They arent there for the book learning.

No, they are $25k cars and because they are too young to have fricked up credit, they can drive off the lot with a down payment from their Pell Grant and a co-signer. sketchy sure, but not the same as it is now. Not even in the same ballpark.

He's not exactly wrong, but Dabo has portrayed himself and Clemson football in a certain way for so long that he knows he can't go back on it now and it scares him. Honestly he should take the Raiders job, fail spectacularly for 2-3 years, and then come back to college football while conveniently forgetting about all the bullshite moral posturing he has done over the last several years.
