Another OM/Vols "battle" . Personally I think we are just swapping Amadi for Ordway. I'm okay with either.

Honestly, I haven't read anything on Ordway and UT in months. I'm not sure if we cooled on him or what but he's been MIA in the recruiting updates from both 247 & Rivals.

I haven't heard much on Amadi in a while either. The last CBs I remember hearing about are Justin Martin and Micah Abernathy.
I don't think Butch turns away Amadi if he wants to come here though.

I agree. Amadi is essential if we want to land Kyle Phillips too.
I don't think we land Abernathy though. He seems to be trending UGA. I would be perfectly fine with finishing our DB class with Amadi and Martin.

Ordway is without a doubt the most overrated player coming out of TN this year. Dude is not fast enough to play CB at the SEC level and has some serious attitude issues as well, straight up quit on his Giles Co team last week. I'm pretty surprised that OM would take him even as a sign and place for JUCO really.
That said OM has gotten some really talented kids out of TN this year, think Givens and Richmond are gonna be darn good OL.

He's right. Ordway's stock has been free falling lately. His grades are also horrendous from what I've read.

They haven't been in touch with him in a very long time according to VQ.
I'm not in here trying to hate btw. But I've heard similar to things like the Vandy dude above stated. JUCO might do Ordway some good. Maybe he could beef up a little bit and play safety, who knows.

If his grade are that bad that makes sense. We can only take 15 this year so we are getting a few sign and place guys.

Not trying to talk ish about OM, I like freeze and he is doing a great job there. I'm just surprised anyone in the SEC is taking Ordway after seeing him play this year live.
