Let me just understand something though, because I don't follow recruiting all that closely. I've seen a few instances where Alabama fans mention the close ties LF's head coach has to the Alabama staff, but LSU fans quickly say the high school coach doesn't matter. But now, the only real reasoning I see for the few people picking Cam Robinson to LSU is that his high school coach wants him to go to LSU. What gives?

Cam Robinson announcing Friday
So how long do you think TD will be down for after his announcement?
The same time the Toothless Teabagging Forum was down when Alabamians JRussell, JWilliford, KAlexander, CNeighbors, SRivers, etc., etc. announced they were signing with Louisiana State,

Robinson is probably going to Alabama, although I will remain optimistic because it makes me happier. Saban got in his ear and got to everyone around him and there is suddenly a lot of support for Alabama in West Monroe. There is only one reason for that and it isn't geography or the fact that Alabama is winning championships. But, I digress.
I wrote a post over on the LSU RB stating that LSU will be fine either way. Would LOVE to have Robinson, but losing him will not set LSU back. We will find someone else. They won't be as good, perhaps, but there will not be a huge drop off. La'el Collins was the #6 player in the country when LSU got him. He is our LT. He is really good, but if we plug a 4 star 6-6 330 lb OT there who is a 4 star instead of Robinson, LSU's line will still maul.
In other words, if Bama gets him, congratulations. If not, I am not crying about what a high school kid does.
Sorry, Bama fans.

C-Rob should nicely make for our fifth straight LT to be drafted early (fourth in first round of course).
Now to get him and Cornwell selling the idea of DAT offense to LF.

I think the statement is more that Shows is pushing him to make a decision, not necessarily LSU. Just to get it over with before the season. I don't know this just the feel I got from previous posts although I do know that sounds like a Shows move. For what it's worth I kind of thought he was going to BAMA all along so it's ok if he doesn't pick LSU but i'd obviously be happy if he did.

So what's the one reason for all the Bama support in West Monroe?

People are retarded to automatically assume Cam is going to Bama bc of some bullshite you read on a recruiting site. Cam has kept everything inside as far as his recruitment goes and nobody not even these dumbasses that change their predictions every hour knows where he is going! Everytime its close for a recruit's date to committ to the school of their choice they start changing predictions like crazy and most of them are wrong so you can buy into that if you want but I would be shocked if he didn't end up at LSU!

If he is going to Alabama, I would rather him get it over with now. I can respect that. What Landon Collins did was kind of petty, in my opinion. Go where you want to. It's your life, not ours.

FYI - I know who the "who's" are, and who they are is not nearly the loss to Bama that CRob would be for LSU.

What do you think?
Do you think that West Monroe suddenly loves Alabama because they have won a few championships?
Do you think West Monroe loves Nick Saban?
West Monroe is a HUGE LSU town. The town hasn't switched, but suddenly, there is an Alabama faction there - very small but vocal related to top recruits.
Why?

Is that not the same reason LSU fans believe Cam is coming to them or for that matter that LF is a LSU lock. I am confused about how it is different.

Simple but maybe you missed the memo.
LA=Lower Alabama now. So they are basically staying instate.

One thing is for sure. Water is wet and Bama trolling will be epic on this one.
Yeah, that's two things. DWI.

No I am talking about all the bullshite that has suddenly changed in favor of Bama when the fact of the matter is that Cam hasn't said anything what so ever regarding his decision! Its like someone came to them in their dreams and told then who he's picking!
