In my opinion, what A&M did is what I would like to see others do...if a kid is unsure, which is perfectly understood, grab the kid who loves your school enough to jump on immediately.
I personally think Harris is more looking for a place to play quickly more than he is looking for the best program that he likes the most. Sadly, early playing time USUALLY means the program isn't as good as the others that have stronger competition at each position, especially qb.
Let's be honest, very few freshmen have success at qb in the SEC, so if he is promised early playing time, it should be a sign of a weak team.
Good luck to him, don't like the games.

If I am going to buy a new truck. One new truck is all I need and all I will buy. I look at Ford, Chevy, GMC, and Toyota. I then proceed to buy a Ford. It is I who has dropped the other dealers.

When Harris gets on campus in 2014, AU's QB situation will be no worse (could easily be better) than the situation at LSU. You'll be replacing a senior starter, and signed a very good prospect in Feb. Auburn will have a returning starter in 2014, and signed a very good in Feb.

Apparently an article from the least trustworthy of the LSU paysites said that LSU told Harris if he committed, we'd stop recruiting other QBs.
While I have not wavered from my feelings that we are only taking one QB in this class, I am take all info from that site with a grain of salt.
