You know there's a topic on this very thread within this forum where Tennessee fans basically said they had assumed he was going to lsu right? It looks like his recruitment swung in the last bit. I wasn't following his recruitment but you're the only one that seems surprised.

Tennessee isn’t worried about LSU, so I doubt UT fans are crying. Right now UT is ranked ahead of LSU on every recruiting site by at least 2 spots for the 24 class
UT will finish with a higher class this year than LSU. I sure would hope LSU could pull in top 10 class this year at least. UT on the other hand will be inside the top 5 when finished.

I think it would be close between Vols and LSU but Vols currently in it for:
4 star OT Bennett Warren (expected to commit to Vols on Monday)
4 star WR Amari Jefferson (probably 49% Vols/51% Bama, Vols baseball commit)
4/5 star DT Kamarion Franklin (general consensus is Vols lead)
5 star WR Ryan Wingo (been at or near the top for him for a long time, keeps coming back to campus)
4/5 star DE Jordan Ross (Vols lead)
4 star DE Kameryn Fountain (Vols lead all spring until he randomly committed to USC, still has good communication with staff. Flip candidate)
4 star DE Danny Okoye (Vols lead)
4 star TE Roger Saleapaga (Vols might be leader, but has yet to narrow it down)
4 star CB Kam Mikell (Early in this recruitment but Vols are a player)
Also have some momentum in 4 star LB Chris Cole and 5 star DL William Nwaneri

How in the hell are you a baseball commit to one school, confirmed playing both sports and not a commit in both? I can understand it being a 50/50 split on where he actually ends up but that seems a bit silly.

The way the NCAA lets players move around I would not be shocked one bit if he couldn’t play football at Alabama in the fall and transfer to Tennessee for baseball in the spring. Then do it again the next year.
(Obviously I’m joking, but we will see it one day)

LSU was once DBU and now we cant sign top talent at all. Using transfer portal players to feel the gap has been awful. DB coach kelly hired is terrible. Kelly better do something because our DB backfield right now needs a lot of work. Next year when Daniels leaves the offense ain't saving this defense. BK will be the one under the microscope with his 3rd year running the program.

Actually, our transfer DB's were excellent last year. We only had a few underclassmen, hence the failure this year.
