Autocorrect must've changed "fap" when I was not looking. That bastard.

with Lawson and Liner blowing up and getting their 5 stars...if they pull in Adams, then that might be the most impressive haul of any position group that I can remember.
It is very impressive. Reminds me of that class UF pulled a few years ago.

good haul for auburn. We landed montgomery, mingo, and brockers in 2009. None were 5* but in terms of production that was probably one of the best DL classes that year.

Rankings wise, I think UF's DL haul in '10 was better.
AU's is indeed impressive, but there's a long ways to go with Adams IMO.

Yeah even if we get Adams and Bower, I'd still take UF's 2010 DL class, rankings-wise

I would hope so, seeing as we currently have two DL committed.
Hell, who am I kidding... we could add 3 or 4 more kids and still not equal that class.

Bad joke.
I obviously know that.

Really? I'd rather have them produce once they actually get to college rather than care about where they were ranked in high school.
UF's class that year was dang impressive, but the on-paper hype hasn't come close to being matched with the play on the field.
Carl Lawson said it best. If he doesn't perform on the field at AU, rankings don't mean shat.

We don't know how our potential class will fare either, therefore the only objective way to compare is by rankings.

I was just looking at the 2010 UF class and they had the #1,4,7 and 95 ranked guys on the D line. How many of those guys are still on the team?

I remember for last year's game the commentator said the 2010 dl class was on the field, and don't recall them being that formidable. I think that class was a bust, besides powell who just has the injury bug

It all depends on how it plays out. Brockers was a DE coming here, a good one but not elite. Davenport was a 5 star DT and is buried on the oline. Look at fairley, he was a 3 star OT.
