I really don't think Mama is gonna let him get that far away and by all accounts she's kind of the lead dog in his recruitment. Supposedly his favorite schools at this point are Clemson/UGA/Bama/USC, but a lot of speculation that USC is because mom likes it and it's close to home... Frankly, they don't let a lot of information out at all, so he's a hard recruit to even get a bearing on where they're leaning... That's not just for fans, but apparently coaches as well. UGA coaches feel that we have a good shot it sounds like, but no one should feel remotely confident.
He's ultimately good enough to hold a spot wherever he wants to go.

Our side is getting more confident that Evans doesn’t make it to Athens(but again, not necessarily college station).

It's not like he can't catch a flight from Houston to atlanta in the morning. A&M is only an hr away from Houston so he will be back home tonight

Rumor is we got a commitment from OT Chad Lindberg out of League City, TX, yesterday. I've seen a few CBs for him today, including Wiltfong.
Wonder how that would affect our ability to land Van Pran.

What is his routing?
Baton Rouge to Oxford to College Station to Athens?

Guessing he’s flying to Georgia. So he would just head back to Houston tonight and fly out tomorrow morning
Kid is the ultimate wild card in the recruiting process though so who knows. I did think it was odd that like 5 kids from North Shore were gonna be at our thing (and I think some were at LSU with him yesterday) but he wasn’t going to be there.

I thought he was there yesterday? Shadrach Banks was supposedly there as well

That's what I'm confused about. Thought people were talking about him being there today, but if hes at A&M right now there is no way he spent any legitimate time there today.

Several top recruits are splitting their time at multiple events over multiple schools. Being at ATM today has no bearing on being at UGA tomorrow. #flydeltajets

I have mixed emotions. It's near impossible to turn down a back like Evans. And we really don't want to see Alabama pick up Evans to go with Trey Sanders from last year.
I do think we should go ahead and Take Bigsby and Milton, but keep going after Evans. If you are able to pull him....take him. If not you have your two backs.
Thing is, we are in it for two backs in the 2021 class that I really like a lot, too. Evan Pryor and Cody Brown look really good.
