Alabama and Georgia recruited Dean for years. No need to insinuate anyone did anything under the table.

Yeah I agree, but I think it was just the way it played out plays into conspiracy theory. You saw a bunch of CBs to Ole Miss mid-morning... up until an hour before then it all started coming up UGA. Believe what you want at that point - recruiting is hysterical.

Not that I know of. I think the hometown pull was the only glimmer of hope for Ole Miss fans. Otherwise, it had be known for a while he was loyal to Bama and was likely going to stick with his commitment.

Way i see is this,;if people are accusing OM of pyaing then if you beat them you obviously are also. No other rationaal about that. Maybe UGA did offer more. The point is they won and thats all that matters. NCAA can do anything about it. They are useless.

Earlier this year Yancy claimed that Ole Miss was the team to beat for #1 TE Hudson Henry. The next day Hudson came out with a top 3 that didn’t include Ole Miss. That was my personal favorite this cycle.
