Because he wasn’t.

It’s very obvious what happened here, but it’s also obvious that nothing will come of it so untwist your panties bud

It absolutely was tampering but that’s football now, almost everyone does it now so frick it.

Someone tied to the AD posted that they hear/expect (can’t remember which) that drink plans on contacting Kelly about this. Pretty much to explain what’s going on, and pretty much to say you’re new to the conf don’t start off with this hanging over you. Doubt it changes the outcome but it shows how much tampering went on with this one.

LMAO! Kelly doesn’t give a rats arse about what Drink thinks ??. You may have noticed we’ve been losing players to the portal too, so don’t come here and act like this is some crazy thing that’s happening to y’all.

Not that it matters a ton, but it is 100% tampering in hiring the coach prior to him going into the portal. There is also truth the Mehki didn't want to go to Mizzou to begin with, thought he could go somewhere bigger. He was undersized and the big programs stayed away. Steeples for some reason has been a POS towards Mizzou, and the thought is that Eli didn't hire him. The truth is that Eli couldn't hire him if he wanted those kids from DeSmet. He wouldn't have been able to recruit them.

The worst part about all this is the thoughts Steeples is putting in kids heads.

It's the same with that happened with Illinois and the Trinity kids. They thought because they already knew the coach there it would give them some kind of advantage in college football, when what was really happening is they were following dudes making promises they had no chance of keeping.

In the time it took you to type that sentence, you could have done a quick Google search and discovered that what you "thought" was, in fact, wrong.

Nah, when it's the kids own coaches, it's exploitation.

Yeah, this isn't some big anti mizzou conspiracy. It's a player wanting to play for a top football program in America with a much more established track record of getting players into the league.

Also, no one has any right to cry over LSU tampering. LSU has lost 2 five stars due to tampering in the last two years, and almost lost another.

If this is the hill Drink wants to die on, then he's not cut out to win in the SEC. Open your checkbooks. Welcome to big boy recruiting.

Buddy last I checked Drink is undefeated against LSU and Mizzou has a higher rated ‘22 recruiting class. Don’t talk about no big boy recruiting if you can’t back it up baw

So LSU went through a major coaching change that included keeping only the Oline coach, and has a chance to have a higher class than Mizzou in that same year? Is that what I’m understanding?

Where did I say LSU has a chance to finish with a higher class than Mizzou? They don’t and won’t as long as Drink is at Mizzou. Get used to it slapdick
