He's scheduled for an interview with The Zone after 1 I think; I doubt he would do the interview if he switched to LSU.

Philon wasn't told a week ago, was told about a month and a half ago to 2 months ago, but wasn't a possibility till last week, he agreed to it if it happened, this is why Bama staff pursued Tomlinson and Kirven, they wouldn't have if Philon said "no way" and the last 2 weeks Arkansas called him and made him think more about it.

if this is how it worked with d philon? i'm guessing this will become the norm, with the 25 rule. if it happened this year while you can backcount? imagine how its gonna be next year when you cant. kids like this are borderline and they're the ones that get caught up in this new rule. a school has to look after its best interest by taking the very best player you can get. otherwise you no longer compete at the highest level. so im thinking we may as well get use to this type situation. its sad, but i suspect its gonna be the norm for future signing periods.
