Reads "right now"

Posts pic of something that occurred last year to refute the statement.

Doesn't realize the difference in those two things.

I had no idea, never would have dreamed, that this commit would get under the skin of some, not all, but some obviously.

It's not worth trying to understand the reaction of a couple of these folks. They'll be even more upset as this class comes together.

Thanks AD.

Brown was what we needed apparently, to get our RB issues ironed out. Heck, I fully expect the ones we have now to be much more productive this coming season. I love hearing the guy talk.

This is why I don't really follow recruiting. I'll get excited once he signs a LOI.

Technically every prospects recruitment is wide open until the ink is dry on the LOI.

Marshawn Lloyd is a great get by USCjr - so congratulations!

I do understand why people have questions about this commitment as not only the selection was unexpected but the timing as well. Not saying the commitment won’t stick - just saying it’s unusual.

People are being ridiculous. It may have been a surprise and the commit may not stick but people are acting like we've never landed a 5-star before or that we're some school with a 40k-seat stadium and shite facilities.

Maybe he was just excited by our new indoor practice facility? Or maybe it was the new football operations center?

wasn't meant as an insult. Other than South Carolina fans, no one looks at USC and thinks "University of South Carolina".

Damn, I can't even say "we didn't want him anyway" on this one. Nice pull Gamecocks - Thomas Brown is the real deal.

Not a fan of the “UofSC” saying but I guess if the Gamecock fans like it that’s all that matters.

well that's just disingenuous... You may have forgotten why you type it that way, but there is zero chance that in your head you thought... "yeah it's not insulting to call a program by their abbreviation + 'jr'..."

Or perhaps it feels like home to him or perhaps he really likes BMac and T Brown. I mean they did have some success at UGA recruiting and playing .... which may be why some of these UGA fans are letting their butthurt show on their sleeves right now, in this thread. They may have already realized this whereas I just realized this this very minute while reading your post.

Good Lord if BMac and Brown land Tank as well, the UGA crowd is evidently gonna melt.

I forget, sometimes, the UGA connections on this staff with Boom, BMac and now Brown. I may even be missing one or two.

We've got big time fan support, facilities, play in a great conference, we've got a great schedule, got great rivals, got a great school, in a great state.

I don't know what's to be surprised about but there are going to be a lot more surprises in store for some of you in these next couple of classes.

Anyone who refuses to admit to Boom's well known recruiting prowess, especially with this staff he has assembled, is just in a state of denial. I mean mUSChamp told us that he actually digs being between UGA and the taterheads because kids will stop by and visit with us between the two and it's already paying off.

A Top 10 class this year? I dunno, who knows. Time will tell.
