Very nice! UK always seems to land at least one future superstar lineman.....

Great get. This has to be their best recruit ever right?
Highest rated out of state recruit since Antonio Hall. In-state there have been a few ranked about the same or better. Tim Couch and Dennis Johnson if the current ratings systems existed then, Micah Johnson, Matt Elam, but they were all Kentucky kids.

And to no ones surprise he's taking an official to Bama.
I'll send Saban an entire case of Little Debbies to back the frick off.

Looking at Bama's current OL commits, if Rogers has decided his future is at OG instead of DT, he'd be a fool not to go see what Saban is offering.
They have low rated OL commits.

That's a good point. As of right now, the only OL in the top 100 on 247 we're really in on is Chris Morris.

They don't care about the ratings. (Many of their starters have not been highly rated: Vlahos, Davis, Warmack, Barrett Jones, Bowman, et al. Many highly rated guys have not done much.) Of course many of the ratings have been fairly accurate too. OL, along with QB, are the hardest positions to evaluate, even as gifted an evaluator as Saban is. Too many intangibles involved.

TIFWIW but guy covering Midwest recruiting for one of the sites says this ain't over. Supposedly those close to him feel UGA still has a shot. I was shocked as this hasn't even been hinted at by the UGA coverage guys. And UGA seems pretty set at OL with one or two to offers left there.

Our insiders are saying UGA and Bama still have a shot but believe he ultimately signs with us.

That's the way I feel about our OL recruiting also.
I feel like we're close to being full.

Butch Jones, unsurprisingly, has baby hands

I still think that unless UGA and Bama are offering him a DL position he'll be coming to UK

I'm starting to think that's the only thing we'll have to offer him. Never really know what your team's board actually looks like, but we'd be taking him over a couple of other guys that I think the recruiting services have ranked higher for DL.

Apparently Bama offered him as a defensive tackle as well. Interesting and unexpected
