What happened here? I thought UGA was in the driver's seat?

Ed Reed and James Coley being quietly ousted.
Given what he did over last weekend, it feels like he might have been telling folks thanks but no thanks and it might be definitive.
There's no question that Georgia is getting completely blown the frick out during COVID recruiting.

Ed Reed being ousted? Why though?

Oh boy. Georgia fans are melting on 247.

Must be harder to deliver bags during the pandemic.

You’d think it would be easier when the bagman has an excuse to wear a mask and the police are being defunded.

I’m not one to spread rumors about Georgia football, but there is some talk amongst the backchannels that Kirby has rubbed a lot of GA HS coaches the wrong way.
What that has to do with a Florida recruit I’m not sure

Sorry if you misunderstood.
I meant Ed Reed being a HUGE factor with Miami kids and Georgia quietly ousting their South Florida link.

The kid is getting a ton of pressure to stay home. I'm honestly surprised to see him commit at this time but if Miami struggles this year it will open things back up for the Dawgs.

Mansell could tell you all about it. UGa, of all places, badly needs things to open back up. They *AHEM* make their hay when they get kids on campus. That's why I hope Terrion Arnold and Sorey decide before things open back up for official visits.

It wouldn't surprise me one bit. They suck at instate recruiting outside of Vandagriff and two OT's and even then I can honestly attribute Vandagriff to Lincoln Riley wanting Caleb Williams more. They possibly won't get Mims and they almost missed out on Broderick.

Gonna play a really deep safety . Like from Miami.

I think this kid just wanted to stay close to home. UGA’s class does leave a lot to be desired at this point. Kirby not winning big games has to be catching up with him.

This is such a weird thing for people to keep saying. What is defined as a big game?

How about any game he is an underdog ?
