like who? i have not seen anyone on texags or our 247 board come close to remotely suggesting that and those are our two main insider boards. if they are i would be interested in seeing it just to see whats being said

Calzada looked pretty good when I saw him. King needs to get bigger too if he is gonna be in the SEC. probably a 2 year bulk up like Brennan. Maybe 1 if y’all are lucky

calzada still needs a lot more polishing, imo. haynes will most likely redshirt in 2020, let mond finish his senior year, and then it will be a three way race between him, calzada, and foster. i think haynes has an inside track for 2021 personally

Depends on his metabolism. I promise you that they won’t throw him out their if he’s at his current weight and size. If he can bulk up fast then yea sure.

Calzada has potential, while King is already more polished. Hard to find a drop back passer in the state of Texas these days, where everything is spread football all the time

Calzada has a great arm, though.

King will be perfectly fine weight wise. He still has another year of high school and is already around 190.

Shouldn’t be hard to get to 200+ by next fall

That’s why I’ve heard some people in the calzada camp even if king did commit. It’ll be interesting to see how it plays out. You’d have to think the losers of the 2021 battle will transfer out like everyone is doing in college football.

He's good. Throws a prettier ball. Very underrated by the recruiting services. He doesn't have the it factor King does.
