Derrick Brown can go elsewhere. UGA will be fine either way.

I want him for bragging rights and trolling purposes. He's also pretty good at football. Phat Phil will have a field day if VOLS land Brown

Still doesn't mean we have a shot at him. Those are likely his final two anyways, Bama was sort of a surpise.

Carl Lawson

You must be kidding. He took a visit to UT, but he was ALL Auburn for a long time.

We had almost a complete turnover of the coaching staff. It would be unheard of to land every prospect we are after with that kind of turnover. The fact that we kept it together as well as we have is kind of shocking.

Sounds like a lot of infighting going on with him and his family behind the scenes. I'm starting to hit that NSD breaking point where I just don't care anymore. Pass on the drama, just give me Michail Carter and lets call it a day on the DL

There's just too much weird in this recruitment right now. As of last week, the analyst I trust the most said UGA. Yesterday he said UGA and AU down to the wire. Today, AU analyst puts out a report saying UGA isn't in the top 3. One UGA analyst says no surprise. The analyst I trust the most says it's completely inaccurate. Brown then refutes it himself and says no more interviews. Now, Smart and Tucker fly in on a helicopter to his school. Those two and Rocker are meeting with his parents.

The bitch of all of this is that two weeks from now, nobody is really going to care anymore who went where.

It'll be on to the 2017 class and Spring practice. We won't think about this class outside of the EEs until maybe July when the preseason prognosticating really kicks into full gear

Lets be honest, the best place for him to go is Alabama. A talent like his will be developed properly and he will be a first rounder guaranteed.

if he isn't going to Georgia, something weird or shady must have taken place. What kid wouldn't want to play for a football program who won their last national championship while Jimmy Carter was siting in the White House

Probably not any more so than when any other recruit leaves the state.

We've had a TON of last second DL losses to Auburn over the years (Gabe Wright, Carl Lawson, Devonte Lambert all come to mind) so it would be nice to be the team stealing one from them last minute for once.

So you've had one last second loss to Auburn. Wright and Lawson were locked up long before they committed to us. Yall just like to get your hopes up fo no reason.

Vol Twitter fans are some of the most pathetic on the Internet.... right up there with FL. Bama Twitter fans suck, but it's much more of a quantity over quality thing

No one said anything shady is happening, simply that it has been a very weird recruitment.
