I don’t think ROI has much to do with it at all. People with big companies and lots of money want to be “insiders” and important. Probably the easiest way to get access to coaches and brag about working with the athletic department to friends and family.
There is next to zero ROI. The real return is on their ego. That’s it.

Poor Texas....lost another head to head against A&M.
Not sure how Sark overcomes Jimbos recruting staff. As good as Saban's and Kirby's.
Gonna be interesting to see if the move to the SEC helps OU and Texas in getting more 5 stars.

It's definitely still up in the air - but A&M has the last visit, and A&M insiders still generally feel good about it.

I'm assuming he ends up at A&M, sounds like a sad situation with him basically raising his younger sister. Seems like a good kid doing his best.
