Man, Oregon, Oklahoma, A&M, these dudes really need to reconsider proper development and truly competing. Head to Athens, Tuscaloosa, Baton Rouge, hell Columbus, something. At least Hicks will likely step away from his A&M commitment, good on him for that.

Doesn't matter because Jimbo is still your coach and will waste any talent that comes his way.

Lol they put up some talent but not to the extent of the aforementioned. Also look at OU currently, they brought on one of the best defensive minds in America with a defense ranked between 100-110th nationally. It’s a dumpster fire. Oregon’s defense is ranked 81st under Lanning. Being a defensive recruit, that should be a concern. Meanwhile Georgia, LSU, Alabama, Ohio State, and others are right there. You already may spurn one team that’s lacking (relatively) on your side of the ball and going to another that’s actually worse. For reference, A&M, despite its abysmal record is ranked 50th in total defense.

It’s not #81 in defensive efficiency. Lanning has improved defensive line play.

cmon dude he was left with so many holes we had our whole starting DL drafted and our top lb. We was struggling no matter what... then Riley left and we lose more players and recruits. The last two games both teams have scored under 20 and we have had like 13 takeaways in the last 3. We had 7 5 stars at Bedlam including Hicks.... the recruits are coming regardless what a lame duck LSU fans thinks... Bowl eligible again even in our worst years... we have had only 6 seasons ever we didnt wins more than 6 games.... can LSU say the same?
Did LSU go to a bowl game last year NOPE.... probably the worst judge of character ever. All of this in the best conference top to bottom this year.

How does a recruit look at that with a Texas team that hasn’t even peaked yet (likely better next season) and still beats an Oklahoma team by 49 and remains scoreless for four quarters, and says “I’m a Sooner”. Blows my mind.

Gutted? Like LSU…meanwhile Kelly was able to take over, properly, and instill a culture and have them beat Alabama and on the brink of a playoff, should they beat Georgia, in year one. I should also point you’re an Oklahoma fan, let’s not look at their last twenty year history with true SEC teams. Florida, Georgia, LSU……..63-28. Riley saw the writing on the wall, he didn’t want to compete in the SEC.
I think Brent has some potential but don’t come at LSU when they’ve won three National titles in the past 19 years and Oklahoma was directly involved in two of those, one of which was among the worse bowl beatdowns of all time. Nonetheless, this is the recruiting board, seems Hicks is all OU. Good luck with landing that commitment
