Who is the best WR in Auburn history?

Terry Beasley probably. He was before my time though. I like Tyrone Goodson, who statistically is close to Beasley's numbers. Frank Sanders/Lawyer Tillman were the most exciting to me. Freddy Weygand was the most dependable IMO.

Terry Beasley. My personal favorite is Courtney Taylor though.

He wasn't before my time. He was a great one. Loved the Pat Sullivan to Terry Beasley connection. They were a lot of fun to watch.

ETA
If I am not mistaken there was some doubt as to who would win the Heisman between Sullivan and Beasley. Or at least Beasley was in the conversation. Or....I could be old and just misremembering.

If I remember the story correctly, Beasley asked to not be considered so that he wouldn't take votes away from Sullivan. There was an Auburn Plainsman sports editor (Joe Cook I think) that obsessively wrote the Heisman committee members weekly after Sullivan was snubbed in 1970 Heisman vote

Serious question here:

Was this before the AU/UGA hate got bad?

My granddaddy was one of the two guys who made the call to turn the (brand-new, high-powered) sprinklers on against y'all's fans that stormed JHS in '86 (says in part because they were tearing up turf and trying to rip new handicapped railing out of the concrete). He always made it sound like that was the turning point but I've always been curious about how y'all feel about things.

Good question. Auburn has had some really good college level talent that didn’t necessarily translate to the NFL...

Sammie Coates
Duke Williams
Ryan Davis
Ben Obamanu
Devin Aromashadu
Courtney Taylor
Darvin Adams
Rod Smith
Darius Slayton
Seth Williams

I’m going from roughly 2002-present.
