Lawd have mercy. It’s fun being an Alabama fan. But now it’s time to get some DL

Ehh I'm fine. A bit confused but fine.

Apparently he wasn't happy OSU took a 2nd TE, but from everything insiders have reported they always wanted 2 TEs in this class.

OSU is having some problems this cycle that insiders are saying relates to SEC teams using the competitiveness of the B1G as a negative against OSU and OSU isn't willing to pay cash up front apparently (but pays a ton when kids are on campus).

It's interesting to see the impact of NIL in real time

Edit: I meant the competitiveness of the B1G isn't as good as the SEC so kids are being told by SEC coaches why would you want to play at OSU

Good pickup. He looks like he is in his late 20s.

Expand on this a bit. You don’t believe the SEC is competitive or that Bama offers a competitive environment?

Um what? As in the lack thereof?

I'm saying the opposite actually.

coaches in the SEC are saying the B1G outside of OSU isn't good. Therefore, they won't play enough good players to get to the NFL

Seems like Lockwood was a distance factor anyway. Had wanted the Alabama offer and family wanted him closer to home.

Well that’s not true, but the SEC is more competitive in that sense. But the gap isn’t that huge.

He may have been. It's no secret that he wanted a Bama offer, but why did he wait a year to visit Bama? The reason is apparently because OSU took a 2nd TE (according to OSU insiders at least).

Also, OSU has been in on, and has gotten commits from, a lot more kids from the South this cycle than in the last few cycles. Those kids are going to take more work to get them to sign on the dotted line than kids from the midwest
