After hearing about Bryce Gowdy I hope GT hangs on to Gibbs. Sad story and wish the best for the family.

It wouldn't surprise me if Gibbs ends up at Florida.

Fuuuuuck that. Let him go to the nerds, be wasted on an abysmal team, and then be a steal for some NFL team in the future. Just say no to high upside underrated talent going to UF.

Knox has whiffed on all his other targets but hoping he can pull Gibbs.

Gotta love LSU in this one. We have a need there and he would be perfect with this scheme. We’ll see.

You have a need? You landed two of the best backs last year.

We could possibly be down to 2 scholarship RBs if we don’t sign a back this cycle. Clyde goes pro, and Curry could transfer.

Dang, that's some Mark Richt level roster management right there.

Doesnt seem like Curry is transferring after starting the Peach Bowl. Coach O this morning kind of confirmed as much on radio. Curry said he wanted to stay ultimately, worked hard and ended up starting the bowl game in place of CEH.

That's shocking considering the success LSU has had over the years at RB. Curry looked really good the other night against Oklahoma.

You'll be in pretty good shape if Curry stays, but even three seems a little short.

I don’t think very many people thought Clyde would be a risk to jump to the nfl before the season started. Curry appears to not be headed for the portal anymore so should be at 3 backs plus whoever signs in feb

We'd have 4 with an incoming RB, which we're definitely signing one. Gibbs would be a huge add to have a RB room of TDP, Emery, Curry and Gibbs.

There's just really no need to carry like 5-6 RBs on scholarship here if we're relatively committed to throwing the football a lot more. Definitely could get away with 3 even assuming no injuries.

I've said since before Gibbs had his exceptional senior season that he was the best back (or at least on that tier) in state... And I'm on record that I think Tank will be less than stellar. I certainly could be wrong, and our staff knows a hell of a lot more about the kids than I do. Only justification I've seen for us not going after him was concern about ability to put on good weight and remain explosive, but no clue if that's actually part of why we didn't really get in the mix with him.

And no... regardless of whether our staff wants a kid, I can desire that the kid doesn't go to UF (or any team that we play yearly)... Of course that desire and about $3 will get me a cup of coffee.

I like this kid's tape. However, I've heard that Academics are actually important to him, and if so it's Florida or GT. Will be interesting to watch

And that means what?? Georgia is stacked at rb. Got like 7 backs on Georgia roster. Yah LSU needs an rb badly. Have no depth, need depth to account if going to win any games better than mediocre
