He will do great at Tech against an ACC schedule. Good pickup for them, actually glad to see them get someone worth a damn for the first time since what feels like Chan Gailey was there.

Maybe. He has great film but didn't really wow at the AA game. Going to Tech isn't going to help his rise to stardom either.

It didn't hurt Calvin Johnson or Demariyus Thomas'.

They got a really good RB last year, too. Jamious Griffin. Their new coach is definitely bringing up the talent level at GT. They still have a long way to go, but it is improving, and a GT education is not bad to have either.

The biggest thing facing Tech is the ability to play the LOS. They’re not going to be able to simply scheme around a talent disadvantage, they have to bring in guys on the OL with upside and develop them which takes time. I think Collins is a goofy dude but by the time he’s done he will leave Tech better than what he inherited from Johnson. Question is who then comes in and takes them back to a top 3-4 ACC team from there.

Thank you! I really think GT is on the right path. It might take 2-3 more years, but you will get there. It will be nice to have two strong teams in the state again. (I don't want you too strong, obviously...but a Top 10 team at least)

Huge win for GT to keep a hold onto him, seemed like a sure flip candidate with the attention he was getting

Man, you’d think for as much as GT had put into the kid and as huge a commit he was for them they’d have gotten him a better looking hat to put on the table...

Put me down as saying I think he has the highest ceiling of any RB in state... Not sure whether he'll hit it at GT, but he's an electric athlete.

The OL and DL will both be much better this year. The transfer portal has been huge in getting bigger more talented guys in here quick.

he is a talented kid. I was hoping Georgia would get in on him, but we never showed much interest. I am happy with what we got, but I agree with you. he has a lot of talent and will do well for GT.

That's a huge key these days. Go to the portal for a stop gap measure, then recruit and develop while the portal guys play.

Here's a start, these 2 grad transfers coming in this year:

LINK - Ryan Johnson 6'6" 305lb

LINK - Devin Cochran 6'7" 320lb

And these are two EE's of the 6 OL we signed this class:

LINK - Jordan Williams 6'6" 310lb

LINK - Michael Rankins 6'5" 295lb

That's some big boys, there. You sure y'all can afford their grocery bill? they look like they could eat a team into bankruptcy.

The Varsity is across the street! They can fill em up there. Laundry will be an issue though.

I get the Varsity joke, but we need our guys eating low fat, good proteins and steamed veggies and lots of baked potatoes, not loaded though

We need our big guys "agile, mobile, and hostile"

Hopefully this will improve our pass blocking and open up our Offense next season

I'm sure Gibbs will do well at GT, it's acc conference, weak conference. I would expect him to make some noise this coming season at GT. Will be exciting to watch.

Damn. Georgia got some huge boys,. What they feed those guys?? The university of Georgia offensive lineman and defensive lineman were freaking massive from what I saw in the sec champ game vs LSU and these kids what u list here are huge too.
