Not that surprising with the big name schools that have offered him recently. Not sure who the favorite is at this point.

UK, any back up plans now that Williams is looking elsewhere?

I wish LSU had a chance with him.

Yea he was at Miami last night. Supposed to go to OSU next weekend (if he doesn't commit before then maybe?)

Not that I'm aware of. At least not anyone right off hand we can flip that would be of similar quality.

There's been a lot of Miami smoke since he has an established relationship with Richt from when he was at Georgia.

I hate that kind of bullshite. You win a game big and get a decommit.

I wouldn’t usually say this about a recruit but eff him.

Kentucky is the first team to realize his talent and offers so he commits.

Starts to blow up and gets some more notoriety and “doesn’t want to visit other schools while committed” so he decommits.

Starts visiting and getting love and offers from bigger name schools.

Eventually decided to stick with Kentucky and recommits and tells everyone he’s “shutting it down”

Rumblings and offers from Alabama, Ohio State, Miami, and Auburn start coming in during his senior season but his father goes on local media assuring everyone he’s committed and enrolling in January.

Goes to visit Miami last night.

Decommits.

These things go both ways in recruiting. Having said that you would hope he would have stuck it out with them since they gave him an opportunity early on in the process.

No offense but maybe the kid wants to play for a ship. Would you blame a kid for decommitting from Miami in basketball and going to UK?

He had offers from championship caliber teams the first time he decommited and still recommitted. He could have cut Kentucky and moved on the first time and no one would be surprised or blame him.

I forgot... 17/18 year old kids are supposed to have everything figured out and never make a mistake or change their mind ever... or if they do... they are only allowed to change it once...

It sucks... I get it... but the same could be said going the other way when coaching staffs tell a kid he's got a spot, class gets a little tighter and he's still got a spot, then a month or so out from NSD "it might be best if you pursue other options" type comments come out. Not saying UK does this regularly, but it's just part of the recruiting game. In this case, UK got the wrong end of the stick...

Will any Kentucky coaches be taking to twitter to subtweet their rage like last year with Mac Jones?

Commits, decommits. Recommits. Says he's shutting it down. Dad two weeks ago goes on local radio station and says only way he doesn't go to U.K. Is if Stoops is fired. Decommits yesterday.

Stoops leaving and we don't know about it?

The one billion CB predictions to Miami convinced you of this?

He had always wanted to play for Richt but they didn’t give him a committable offer until Shitkowski flipped to Rutgers.

He gave Richt his pledge while on his OV this past weekend and will end up at Miami.

There is a chance he decides to not visit OSU and Auburn but I would be shocked if he didn’t end up with Miami.

Heard the same about him committing on the OV.

Whether he sticks it out until the Early Signing period (he's an EE) is a different matter.

But he did cancel another OV he had scheduled (id assume the Kentucky one, but hopeuflly he also cancelled the OV to AU and tOSU too)
