Dang pulling a kid out of Texas that OU, Texas, AND A&M wanted.
I think Keiton Jones is announcing today too. I actually thought we'd get Jones and not Rogers.
It's another level up in recruiting for Drink, I know I hate recruiting sites and stuff but there is one wall you can break through in recruiting that really matters and that's into the top 15/top 10 and Drink is getting there.
Pinkel actually landed a couple top 25 classes, not far from top 20.
Drink has had 2 classes that blow those out of the water, now he's having 2 in a row. Any P4 team can have a good class when they have lots of spots open to promise kids and lack talent, but convincing a bunch of really talented players to come to a school when none of them have spots guaranteed or anything is a big hurdle to get over for a program.

What's impressive about the 2025 class is that the state of Missouri had a bad year for talent. So it isn't about keeping the talent home this year. Drink went out to TX and FL to get guys.
And it's about time to recognize that Brandon Jones and Peeler are monster recruiters. Jones getting fired from Houston was the best thing for us.

Although I like OU’s class but f*k we can’t seem to keep the elite players in the last lap. Congrats.

You'll get your guys.
Rogers is like an exact system fit for us.

So our class is ranked #14 nationally, but still #8 in the SEC. Damn this conference is brutal.

I hope so but im sure it’s gonna be really expensive. I have to admit, this is the second time in my life when I am actually really worried about Missouri this year and the future.

Fasusi will announce mid August or so. I would not bet against Brandon Jones when recruiting a TX offensive lineman, especially when all the OVs are done and it comes down to relationship building.
But admittedly, Mizzou has to be careful not to discourage Jackson Cantwell from staying home in 2026. Getting Rogers and Fasusi in 2025 may just do that.

Wish they would give money to Mizzou. Silver Dollar City leases the land it sits on from College of the Ozarks.
We have 3 big NIL donors
Mizzou get’s a lot of money from Schnuks especially NIL. Schnucks has over 100 grocery stores in the Midwest. They sell Mizzou chips, pizza, and a couple other products with Mizzou players on them.
Bud Walton’s daughter Nancy Walton and her husband Bill Laurie give money to Mizzou athletics. They donated $25 million for Mizzou Arena. They both went to college at Memphis and give them money too. Bill played basketball for Memphis when they lost to UCLA in the NCAA National Championship game. He coached HS basketball in Columbia. They use to own the St Louis Blues.
Stan Kroenke is married to Ann Walton. Their son played basketball for Mizzou. They own the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche, LA Rams and Arsenal FC. A lot of people think he is the unanimous donor that donated $62 million for stadium improvements last year.

It wasn't Kronke. I cannot tell you who they are, but I work for them, they are intensly private. They have a big chunk of all MU athletic projects the last decade or so.
Kronke ain't contributed dick.

That's not how Mizzou's NIL works at all.

Lsu wanted him too.
I Have to say, mizzou is killing it since their nil opened up.
Drink has a very good staff and finds diamonds in the ruff for his staff.
