Looks like it came down to us, Ole Miss, and Auburn. A nice get for Stoops.

Very nice late addition after Joko Willis went to Auburn.

Kid was Auburn bound until the staff changes. Very nice pick up.

YAHTZEE! 3 spots from being a 5 star. No.35 player overall.
And also former Michigan State Linebacker Luke Fulton has transferred to Kentucky.

He must have been really PO'd at Auburn. I saw a video where he moved a UK and Ole Miss football aside and it looked like he was going to Auburn, then he opened his jacket and showed a UK shirt and then he and his dad put on UK hats.
I wouldn't have done it but I guess he didn't like what happened at the Barn.

If Auburn had retained LB coach Travis Williams then Trevin would be there. Williams wasn't let go for like a week+ after Harsin was hired and I'm sure he didn't appreciate that.
What's weird is that heading into ESD, Ole Miss was thought to be a distant 2nd to Auburn. Seems like Ole Miss never got back into it. I know Ole Miss only has 1 spot open for a signee today and it's reserved for Tywone Malone but I'm not sure if that played a role.
Obviously Kentucky did a great job with him and has a much better rep for defensive recruiting at the moment than Ole Miss.

The irony of that is Sumrall was the lead recruiter. He was your LB coach in 2018. That said, he played at UK and was a GA under Brooks as well. He turned down some DC jobs to stay at UK, so hopefully we can hold onto him.

Yea, that’s not really how it works.

He was given the opportunity to interview for the job. When it was clear he wasn't going to make the cut, he was let go. He was very aware of this as well.
Was he upset he didn't get the job? Probably. We weren't "waiting" to fire him.

That's not what I said. Was he let go prior to the interview or was he on payroll that week?
