DL is becoming maybe the strongest position on the team.
2019 Leal (5 star), Hunter (4 star), Mowry (4 star), and Jones (3 star)
2020 Jackson (4 star), Harris (4 star), Diggs (4 star), Raikes (3 star), Walker (3 star)
2021 Vaka (4 atar)
Jones is the biggest reach in that group, and he was offered by all the east coast teams, plus Georgia and South Carolina.

Yes. Between Diggs, Raikes, Harris, Walker, Jackson, Vaka, & Harris (21) these last 2 classes are great and will get better is we land someone like Burris and a couple others.

10 wins regular season is the basement for this Aggie team with the talent and experience on this roster.

“I was ready,” Vaka said. “There were a lot of things I liked about A&M. They have been recruiting me hard from the beginning and made me a priority. It’s SEC football and I’ve always dreamed about playing in the SEC. Plus you can’t get much bigger then playing football in Texas so when you add those two things together, it was a pretty appealing for me.”
Vaka said his connection with the coaching staff also played a big role.
“Coach E (Elijah Robinson) and coach (Jimbo) Fisher were great with me throughout this whole process,” Vaka said. “That was the biggest thing for me to be honest, I love the staff and trust them. Coach E is a great defensive coach and has a great plan for me. He has been recruiting me heavily for a while now and I love that coach Fisher is personally involved in my recruitment as a head coach. That definitely meant a lot to me.
“They have done a great job at A&M at developing defensive lineman and getting them drafted and that’s obviously my goal too. I know it’s early but I wasn’t originally planning to commit this soon but the more I thought about it, the more I realized A&M was the best place for me and there was no need to put it off.”
Vaka, who chose the Aggies after cutting his list to Florida, Florida State, Michigan and Oregon, has yet to visit College Station but hopes to shortly.
“I was supposed to visit next week,” Vaka said. “I had several trips set up but they all had to be canceled when everything (Covid) went down. Hopefully by the end of May the travel ban is lifted and then I’ll be in College Station ASAP.
“Like I said though, I’m comfortable with so much about A&M, I was still confident in making my decision. I'll be able to do some zoom calls there and get a good feel and then I'll be on campus, hopefully by the summer. I'm really excited to be an Aggie and feel really good about this, it's definitely the best move for me."

That was the quote my Aggie sent me. Point is he has never been on campus. Kids all over are committing to try to assure themselves that they have a spot.

The only reason aggie has a shot at 10 wins is that soft arse schedule for this year. Still lose to bama, lsu and auburn.

Are you going to bring him "BIG FOOD" that will keep him his height?

Vaka Processed. I feel bad because I like the kid. He was very vocal for A&M and did a bunch of recruiting as well.
Bigger (not literally) fish to fry, apparently.

He never made any sense in a 4 man front, he's pushing over 350 these days, ranking has tumbled a ton.
Posted on 11/30/20 at 11:05 am to Farmer1906
Did he fall in the rankings? Where is he shown as a 4 star?
Posted on 11/30/20 at 11:18 am to Hill Country
He was a 4 star when he committed but has since fallen to a 3 star.

Unfortunately for the kid, he was told to look around. This is the part I'm not fond of with recruiting. I'm sure he lands on his feet somewhere

He just tweeted: go gators? let me know sumn
