McCoy spent two of the last three weekends in Oxford including this past weekend when he attended Ole Miss' Junior Day over LSU's which set off immediate concerns.
Definitely a big position of need for us and would probably get fairly early playing time.

No point, just laughing at how ridiculous recruiting is. Commitment is nothing until the next team ponies up the cash.

Fair enough.
Recruiting definitely is a different animal now. Our front office made a great early push in changing the mindset.

Say huh? Yeah, LSU doesn't have enough to pay a 4 star lineman but had enough to offer underwood like 7 million dollars until that old guy from Michigan paid him way too much money just to get him to go to his home state school bc of his teenage gf wanted him to and signed him befoee we could even counter offer. LSU also has enough money to sign the number 7 hs class for 25 and could have been much higher had jakeem Stewart not been offered shitload of cash to go to usc at the last minute to help save Lincoln rileys job. We also signed the top transfer portal class in the country and aren't done yet. We signed elite players too. We have 15 commits to ole miss 22 and still are #1. Brian Kelly and our ADept realized after the underwood saga that we have to spend more dough, utilize the portal much more and in a different way, yet, still recruit at a very high level in hs, and poof...it happened instantly. LSU is awake to the portal and nil game now and we aren't going away. It's fricking LSU. There's plenty of cash. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool. Congrats on the flip. We will be just fine though.

Yeah i've heard the same. But it's still a huge position of need for us and his measurables are certainly good enough to give him a shot.

LSU is 3rd in NIL collective. Ole Miss can't even be found in the top 25...

Yeah, usually if Ole Miss or State calls they stay home. Those guys are even bigger homebodies than LA players.
