Top 250 player who has a pretty dang solid offer sheet.

Know Texas wanted him badly.

He's a guy Teas really wanted. Not a guy that grades out elite in camps etc, but on the field he's a player. Strong safety or LB depending on the system.

Hopefully the door is still open with him.

He is a leader and has a strong work ethic

I think he would be good for any program

But as of right now doesn't have a position.
More of a hybrid player possibly like Isaiah Simmons from Clemson.

If he's like Isiah Simmons then he can play 2 positions, safety and linebacker

That is his ceiling.

Probably end up a box safety for Auburn.

He dropped because he couldn't cover WRs in the camps one on one.

Simmons is probably one of the most underrated players in college football because of his versatility.

This class is totally up in the air.

Have zero idea of what direction they want to go.

Too premature. Lets wait until December and see where everyone is at.

Safety is a position in Texas you can shake a tree and find a few.

Texas needs safties that can put teams in a box who try to stretch the field vertically.

CTJ would be much better suited for the SEC West at this time.

The box safety isn't stretch vertically as much as in the Big 12.

Who knows if CTJ could put on 35 lbs and play LB.

Better for everyone involved.

Chris Thompson Jr is a good player but he is just a solid person to have around a program.

Very good pick up by Auburn.

No one really has any hurt feelings.

Sorry aggy

He was a Texas lock for like a year, until a week or two ago. Per reports from both sides, he was leaning towards Texas, but the dad was pushing Auburn.

I figured Ja’Quinden Jackson would have landed him

Oh well, solid pickup from a Texas powerhouse for Auburn. Hope he helps with beating A&M regularly.

Don't need to wait till December. Y'all got punked yesterday. 10/10 crystal balls for Texas but picked Auburn. What an embarrassment. Can't even pick up a Texas kid we passed on

Poor aggy

Is this a moral victory.

You taking this as a win more than Auburn.

No one here knows what happened so why waste the time.

What we do know is that he would have been a LB for Texas.

Did Texas see him as #1 option at LB.
Who knows?

He wasn't going to play S at Texas.
I know this for sure.

Yes we do. He picked Auburn when he was a priority recruit for Texas.

Did he.

That is what you want to believe.

I have no idea who are going to be the last 11 for Texas.
CTJ may end up being one but right now it doesn't look like it.

I wouldn't call him a priority recruit.

Only priority recruit Texas still has is Kelee Ringo
I think that is one they may end up losing.

Yes. That is what everyone believes since he, you know, committed publicly to Auburn. Any other dumbass questions?
