Not at all - He’s a space eater
Had some other guys we really liked but in recruiting you gotta find fits and he fits what we’re looking for.

He could have gotten better. He came to ole miss camp and did not perform well

He’s a bit of a project but goal for him is to grow and be used as a nose, eat double teams for LBs

Well y’all’s defense is the model, so I’m sure y’all have a great plan for him

He's looked at as underrated and also a piece to go along with Bear Alexander. Probably needs to be developed. He's also ranked at the same spot as Jordan Davis, although he is a bit smaller. Ok. By a lot.

Jordan Davis wasn't even Top 400 in his recruiting class.
I trust Tray Scott.

Not the same caliber of athlete as Jordan Davis though. Jordan can do things a man his size shouldn’t be able to do. I think they liked Shone as a scheme fit at Nose. Obviously a project but I trust the coaches.

Shone can move pretty well for his size.
Good take.
Good take.

True. He is looked at as more of a space eater. Tying up a double team and hold his ground to plug a hole. I don't think they expect him to scoop up 3 players and sort out the RB like Davis does.

They didn’t expect Jordan Davis to do that as a high schooler either

This the kid from Warren that had to sit out this year for grades?

If I’m running a 3 man front and UGA offers someone, at this point I’m offering that kid as well, no questions asked

True. I'm not sure he is big enough to develop into that kind of player. his body type seems almost maxed out. I could be wrong. it's been known to happen.

Yea, right now GA and TAM are killing it on the DL for the last couple years.

What did they expect him to do?
Wasn't he like 360-380 when he got to campus? What else would a player like that do?
