Arch Manning predictably rated very highly.

State of Alabama with 5 kids in the top 51 prospects

This list will obviously change substantially by the time these kids are signing, but might as well get to know some of the names now

I’m already starting to prepare mentally for the impending WAOM of the century

I'll be shocked if Arch ends up at OM to be honest

Unless Kiffin turns ole miss into a 10 win team in 3 years we don’t have a shot.

But 3 years might as well be an eternity in college football who knows what will be going on.

Also of note, the #1 overall player just moved from Bessemer, AL. He played at the private school there. Bessemer is between Tuscaloosa and Birmingham

Kid was born in Aggie land though and said he grew up a Texas A&M fan

Looks like I need to add Milton to the list of cheating MFers then

His dad is the AD at Kennesaw St. since 2017. Don’t know if it’s a case where parents are split up and he’s moving in with dad or if they hung behind in Alabama for other reasons

Ah, that would make a little more sense but why wait 3 years to move?

My uneducated guess is that the parents are split. He was living with mom but since the public schools in Bessemer are among the worst in the state he went to the private school there.

The private school he attended competes athletically in the AISA, K-12 schools that typically have 100-500 total students, majority white student bodies, and minimal football talent. There are a few that come out of this divison (OJ Howard, Prince Tega Wenagho in recent years) but the level of competition is mostly dogshit.

Sounds like the kid realizes he needs to take football seriously but public school in Bessemer wasn't an option for the parents. Again, all spitballing, but would make sense

My only argument would be that he’s already ranked high with tons of offers unless he’s trying to improve his game maybe

LSU or Ole Miss for Arch I assume.

Cooper told ESPN Radio that LSU, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Duke and UGA are the group he’s most interested in.

Seems to be that way, but the family hasn’t really let his recruiting process even begin so I don’t think anyone really knows anything yet.

Yikes for SC...only 2 are wide outs 1 likely to go to clemson outta Greenville and the other is likely to not give us the time of day due to his brother Jaylin Hyatt.

His dad worked in the A&M athletic department for a while.

The story I read from someone with supposed knowledge of the situation is that the kid seems to like clemson and the parents seem to like bama. Being 3 years away though, that could change 100 times.

I do think this is one where you'll see dad heavily involved in the process though with his knowledge and contacts around the country

At this point it's anyone's guess where he ends up as he isnt putting pen to paper for another 2+ years and the family hasn't allowed him to be recruited really yet either. We'll probably know a lot more as 2021 rolls along, this year is already shot from a recruiting standpoint basically. A lot of things can change in a few years.

Yeah given how the Hyatt family has seemingly fallen in love with Pruitt and VOLS, I would have to think that Devin would follow his brother here.

In order for us to have any chance of landing Arch, Kiffin has to show a dedication to the passing game and win some big games.

Arch Manning on an Ole Miss campus makes me jealous AF. He could smash pretty much every sorority girl and their mom and their grandmoms on campus. That’s gonna be stiff competition. The Manning’s are treated like a royal family at Ole Miss.
