Laughing at what? There’s a great chance Alabama lands both those corners
Laughing because Newberg has a terrible reputation when it comes to CB’s. He’s just throwing shite at a wall and hoping that it sticks just for the sake of trolling UF. Dudes a clown

Are you the real Chad Morris? ;)

You are a clown if you actually think UF leads for Mitchell and McClain

I mean McClain is absolutely not clown worthy regardless of what he says publicly, but agreed on Mitchell. People seemed to get upset just for me answering which three we were in the mix for

Recently said on a live interview that he will make (3) final visits to three schools before he makes his decision shortly thereafter...... He has already visited these schools but named Ohio State, Georgia, and Clemson. Take that for whatever it means and I believe the recent interview was a 247 blog.

Harris said that? He’s scheduled in GVille 18-20th with McClain

The Corey Raymond Effect
1. Recruits highly ranked corners
2. His players rarely understand their assignment
3. Those same players shut it down
4. Raymond threatens to leave every off season unless he gets a raise or promotion

Nobody shits on ex coaches and players like LSU fans. Y’all really just don’t appreciate what people have done for the university that you have never stepped foot on.

Surprisingly, step 1 is the 5 star DB without any Florida connections

Harris was just given a CB to Florida

FWIW, Josh Newberg just put in CBs for the following prospects: AJ Harris to Georgia. Tony Mitchell to Alabama. Cormani McClain to Alabama.
Newberg changed all 3 of these crystal balls to Florida today, kiss of death. Congrats Tide & Dawgs you guys win this round

I'm glad to see an LSU fan say this. I mean, it's obvious (or should be0 that he recruits extremely well. But a large part of LSU's problem the last two seasons has been the secondary in spite of having top level talent. Before that the secondary was tight, so I was surprised when it seemed to have become a liability lately. Maybe the game has passed him by? Maybe it is exactly as you named....the players did not fully understand their assignments? I don't know.

I get that....but in fairness didn't you notice the secondary struggling badly the last couple of years?

Raymond brought a ton of talent to Baton Rouge. There's no doubt. It's also fair to mention that he flirted with other jobs every year just to get more money. It's also worth mentioning that Aranda demoted him to CB coach only.
And the culture of players quitting was strongest at corner.

The whole defense was fricking terrible. Also, if you didn’t notice, a total buffoon was leading the program. Everybody mentions all the bad things but don’t mention all the talent he brought to LSU, the players he got drafted, etc. really the only bad thing in his resume is the last two years, one of which was a covid year and the other was with a dead man walking. Those two years he also had Bo Pelini and a new DC. Nobody was complaining about him when he had Aranda leading the defense. Almost like a good defensive coordinator matters for position coaches
