14th ranked player in Texas on 247 . . . Listed as the 4th ranked dual threat QB in the country and the 77th ranked player overall.

Jimbo got his QB early.

Love this kid. He’s got some playmaker in him.

Noticed he tweeted Coach Childress also.
I assume that means he’ll be playing baseball as well.
Any chance we lose him to the MLB?

A chance? Yes. A high chance? No.

With the draft now MLB teams can’t risk drafting someone that won’t sign. He’s been clear he wants to go to college.

Thanks, Farmer.
My nephew plays for Cy-Woods and knows Connor’s sister.
He concurs that while Connor loves baseball, he seems all in on football—a QB to the bone.
Glad to have him in Aggieland.

From 247 article.

There has been some talk that the junior could potentially hear his name early in the 2022 Major League Baseball draft. While he is not sure exactly what MLB teams think, Weigman is clear that he really wants to play college football and it would be tough to change his mind on that.
"I have not (heard anything about the MLB draft status)," he said. "I'm just playing right now. I haven't really paid attention to that. If it happens, it happens. But, my dream has always been playing college football. So that's my goal right now. I want to play football, so I don't know what I'm going to do with all that yet, if it happens."

We're in a really, really good spot for Houston kids for 2022. Come on, Perkins. Pull the trigger!

he is really fun to watch him play. He's at my daughter's high school and he can really sling it but what stands out is his mobility and speed.

This kid is the best athlete in Texas this cycle. Awesome QB too - appears to have a little JFF in him. He's the one I wanted

We are going to straight up own Houston this cycle.

Great pick up but I hope Jimbo keeps going after Klubnik.

We might take a second QB but I doubt it’ll be someone as highly rated.

No shot with the Ewers kid?

Nope. I think he’s solid to tOSU. There is plenty of QB talent in this class to go around. We like a little more mobile kids anyway.

Ewers is solid to tOSU. He's actively recruiting for them

I don't think we were ever in the mix for Ewers. He showed very little interest and there are probably offenses that better harness his talents elsewhere.

It will be interesting to see if Sarkisian can get back into the conversation. Ryan Day is as hot a QB coach commodity as you will find so it will be tough.

I think that train has officially left the station. Very seldom do you see a kid of that profile decommit a second time. And I don't think I've ever seen a kid decommit a second time to go back to the school he originally decommitted from.

From what I've read they're trying to pursue Maalik Murphy and Klubnik

I wouldn't be surprised if Texas gets one of those two. I mean with the way Rivals is trying to speed Klubnik up the rankings I would say you are in pretty good shape there.

We got the QB that is the best fit for us

It's probably not possible, but I'd love to get Cade, too. Maybe, with him being from an Aggie family, he'd willing to be part of 2 QB class.
