Roy isn't going anywhere once he recommits. He's been working on others to join our class and isn't interested in being just a cog in the wheel at bama. He's going to be an absolute stud once he gets to LSU.

I get that Nick Saban is a great coach but you are making him out to be magic.

In the last 10 years nick saban the head football coach for the alabama crimson tide, has produced 7 number one classes out of ten, including last years class.

He's magic.

Sure, how many times has he flipped a 5 star commit on his second commitment to the same school?

Vandarius Cowan committed to Florida State twice before flipping and signing with Alabama.

He was a nutjob who got kicked off the team though.

I believe he is eligible to play for West Virginia this Fall.

He was a 5-star for most of his recruiting rankings, but ended up a 4-star after being kicked off his high school team.

ETA: He's one of those dudes you would want on your side in a street brawl, but isn't trustworthy enough to play for your team.

His ties are being weakened

2019 Ishmael sopsher and Christian harris (baton rouge).

2017 devonte smith, isiah buggs, phidarian mathis, joseph bulovas chris allen (baton rouge) and dylan moses (baton rouge).

2016 shyheim carter and irv smith.

I could go on but you get the point.

With the exception of 2018 when the program was in coaching turmoil, where have the "ties weakened"? Since 2017 nick saban has yanked 3 blue chip players right out of BATON ROUGE alone and last year took the best defensive tackle in the state.

You need to believe "the ties are being weakened"? Fine by me.

That was him.

I don't think anyone was as savage as my boy Vandarius though.

Saban is scared shitless over LSU having free reign over Louisiana players. He has been the head coach here, won a title here, and knows what caliber of players come from here. There's a reason he recruits here so hard and it's not just to get studs to bama. He does it to try and slow LSU down every chance he gets. He knows there will be no stopping LSU once we lock the state down and get things going like they should and will. LSU and the potential we have here in this area and our geographical recruiting base is second to none. It scares the little guy and for good reason. Orgeron is well on his way to locking down recruiting in state and we have always recruited very well in Texas due to proximity. Him extending our recruiting this cycle is very scary really. Just look at the caliber of players we have committed from other hotbeds around the nation. Lol, if we get those pipelines in tact on top of what we already have, there will be no stopping LSU. It's just a matter of time before we win another natty and I see it happening in the near future honestly. Geaux tigers.

If Roy does not take his remaining OVs he is doing not only this thread but the world a disservice.

I must admit. I enjoyed going on the Bama board and reading surge’s reference to my post on there. It’s just a very different perspective to see things through the eyes of a Bama fan. I don’t know why that one guy assumed Braswell though. Vol has never said a name just that one of your commits was probably flipping. Interesting that he would just assume Braswell but then claim that we started the smoke about there being smoke about him leaving. Makes you wonder who is really starting these rumors.

That’s why it’s interesting. Because it makes no sense. But if you mosey over to their board you will see that one person says it’s Braswell, then the rest just go with it. Then another person introduces info about why it isn’t Braswell, and why LSU posters are making up smoke about Braswell, when in reality that never happened. So they are trying to get rid of smoke that never existed, when they created the smoke themselves. It’s quite hilarious.

One person assumed it was Braswell. I made a joke. TidalSurge said he hadn't heard anything. That is the whole thing. Sounds crazy to me.
