Our insiders are saying UGA, but I do believe the interest in AU was real, but Pittman is too good.

Maybe. He was rooting for Auburn pretty strongly in the DSOR. We'll see. Obviously, it is good for UGA that he is committing the day after he OVs UGA, but he already OVd to Auburn during the Iron Bowl. Right now I say 50/50.

don't care honestly. If we get him, fine. If not, fine. He's had interest in UGA for a while (and apparently very recently) but he's clearly liked auburn as well and even talked crap about us after AU won teh first game. We are definitely getting Salyer who is far better than hill and we already have a logjam at G. Hill would simply be icing on the cake but it won't break our backs if he goes to AU.

I hear what you're saying but I definitely don't want him to go anywhere else. I was watching his camp footage and he was just tossing everyone around. Looked better than Salyer in my opinion.

Pretty much everyone else disagrees, but good job on going against the grain

Sounds like Hill is UGA's. All the 247 "experts" are changing their crystal balls to UGA.

Would be shocked if it's not UGA. Kirby putting in work this year.

It doesn't matter, he's depth for us. Salyer is the gem.

He's more than just depth. He's a top 50 player at a position of need. Sure, in 2018 he might add depth but he'll likely be a 2-3 year starter for us on the interior of the line.

Correct. There isn’t a team in the conference that wouldn’t take Trey Hill.

This... I mean... Isaiah Wilson and Netori Johnson were "depth" for us this year... but they're a significant part of our OL going forward. What Trey Hill is in year 1 does not define him as a player. Is Salyer more likely to contribute early? Sure... but Hill will be battling for time on the field by year 2.

Definitely and I want the Dawgs to play with him and not against him. Could it be we have a Oline so deep we rotate them in and out to stay fresh throughout the game. That concept would be the death of the rest the SEC
