He will be in Cola tomorrow. Haven't heard he was visiting Georgia but I certainly wouldn't doubt it.
Even if he knows where he's going, why not take advantage of visiting other schools that are interested in you?

If family issues was his reason for leaving Clemson to be closer to home, Athens makes no sense. Either he's just visiting UGA to visit or this isn't really about moving closer to home

There's just a lot that isn't adding up with what we've been told and what his actions have been.
I still believe it may just be a case of taking advantage of the opportunity to visit other places for the experience of enjoying the recruiting process. Never hurts to have a plan C (in his case) just in case plan B doesn't work out. It could be to cover his bases in case there's a snag with admissions at South Carolina, to.

Why would a snag in admissions at South Carolina not keep him away from Georgia too? Not trying to get into an academics pissing match but that makes zero sense.

I wouldn't go that far yet. I think Kirby's comments were more geared toward keeping Gibbs motivated and not to rest on his laurels just because the media proclaimed him back with the team. He still has a ways to go to prove he is back where he needs to be.
Kirby apparently feels like he has a scholarship to give to Stetson Bennett to entice him to stay so he obviously has a plan in mind should Belk become an option.

This seems more likely. Seen rumors that good ole Lance might've tampered with Belk before Clemson gave him his release.

Heard talk that Lance may have kept in touch with Belk's family or a single family member (not sure which if it turns out to be true) but that he did not have any contact with Josh directly.
Like I told someone else, it's an awful fine line he was trying to walk if this turns out to be the case and Lance should have known better. It's not like he's new to the intricacies of collegiate football and NCAA rules and regs regarding tampering.

Contact with the family is still considered tampering by the NCAA. No one really knows if Thompson was involved in tampering, it’s all hearsay.
The new rumor is Belks family is looking to relocate to Atlanta for better treatment. Rumors wouldn’t be rumors without the internet.
