Tigers love to make stuff up. Even Liucci has Brown as a top 5 player in the state. Number one DB

I haven't heard a single Aggie claim Tony Brown isn't top 10 in the state. In fact, everyone thinks he's probably the #1 CB in the state.

So essentially those folks are saying his is a mid 4 Star instead of a definite 5 Star and that is some grave insult? K. The kid was 2nd Team All District which means he is a stud based on potential as opposed to what he has done so far in HS. Personally I have no idea, I am not qualified to make that judgement and I have never seen the kid in person. He's got a tremendous offer list just as several of the Top DB's in Texas do.
It's a deep class in Texas of DB's but it's hard to say for sure which of the Top half dozen or so is truly better than the others, esp with a year of HS to go. Any school that gets any of that top half dozen group should be thrilled, it's the deepest DB Class in Texas history. The real story is it seems that A&M and LSU are basically taking their pick and everyone else is getting the leftovers.

Go watch both Paris' and Gardner's film (and Adams for that matter). I assumed Paris was the best safety in Texas until I did. Paris gets burned multiple times but is able to make plays because of horribly underthrown balls. DSG's film is MUCH more impressive. Paris is still a great prospect, but it is more potential at this point than on field results. I'll take the guy with better film over the camp warrior every time.

LOL at A&M fans getting upset at slighting their recruits but many of them have been doing it to Paris/Brown the minute LSU became their leaders.

That's okay. You keep laughing and living in ignorance, and we'll keep being content in knowing that we have the best safety prospect in Texas.

No its not. Ed Paris and Tony Brown are the best. The other guys are good very good in some instances but not better.

I hope A&M continues to evaluate in the same manner. We already know Les and company can evaluate DB's well considering the LSU track record for being a great defensive team and sending players annually to the NFL, but A&M on the other hand....well...

You are aware that both A&M and LSU offered both Paris AND DSG right? Care to provide a link for where Miles said Paris is a better prospect? It's pretty simple: both are high 4* type of players. The difference between the 2 is that Paris blew up the camp circuit but DSG has better film. Paris' current film is NOT 5* material. Our coaches have DSG rated higher precisely because of this fact.

So you're telling me that all the recruiting services and most coaches have gotten it completely wrong with their rankings of these players?
Paris has 24 offers while DSG has 12. I believe the coaches who get paid millions to evaluate and coach these kids much more than a guy in a swivel chair.
It's funny that y'all did the same with tony brown once word got out that he was a lean towards us..
