He's 18, according to a recent article. So, those rumors seem to be false.

What are your thoughts on Foster making the move to Auburn?

Heard he doesn't like trooper Jr. I don't know how he feels about luper's kid. I think the move doesn't help or hurt Auburn.

From what we've gathered, proximity to La Grange and the opportunity to graduate early were two of the big factors he was evaluating.
This is from Charles Powers. One of the 247 Auburn's staff said it should help Auburn somewhat but they would have ground to make up.

Well, I also heard that he was originally from Tuskegee, AL...

Auburn isn't very far from Tuskegee, so maybe that played a part in it also.

I heard it was where Saban wanted him to go so he could dispatch Foster to counter any AU recruiting of Bama targets. Mom's picked up a nice house sitting gig in Auburn and Saturday night dinners at the Japanese steakhouse.

Bryan Matthews said it's definitely a plus for AU but no guarantee that he will flip.

I don't see him going anywhere but Bama.

Yeah, I don't see him flipping. I will be satisfied if it's entertaining.

I know I'm just a fan, and furthermore my opinion matters little to AU fans, but I think Auburn High just offered the best combination of the ability to complete and graduate early. They are a 6A school afterall. And Oxford High wasn't getting his former coach like Auburn High is rumored to be doing.

Nah, you're probably right. All of the above makes sense.

I just wonder how Saban is taking the news that he's transferring to a school located in Auburn. He's already stated that he's solid to Bama and this won't affect his recruiting, but it still makes you wonder what is going through Saban's mind.

Put me down for not thinking that Foster flips to Auburn. We have, like, a 10% chance.

He said he isn't attending a spring game this weekend. He is attending a prom. Also, his reason for choosing Auburn HS is proximity to family and friends in LaGrange & the chance of winning state.

We aren't getting Foster. Kid loves Bama. I'll be fine with Trey Johnson, Cameron Toney, and one other 4* LB

Are you comfortable getting a life-long Alabama fan like Cameron Toney? That kid's room is more Alabama obsessed than I was at 16.

According to Magilla, that picture has been posted and said to be the room of multiple recruits. It might not even be Toney's.

But yes, I am comfortable with it. Reese Dismukes grew up a Bama fan as well
