Yep, that's why I'm not particularly worried. If he was going to be offered, they would have offered then. But then again, JaQuay Williams was offered very late in the process by UGA, so you never really know

Wasn't Jaquay's late offer/lack of an offer due to grades?

Friend on the team is saying that Holland is outperforming the criticisms the coaches are giving him and not to be worried about him.

I am taking this with a grain of salt but I want it to be true so badly.

I don't really see Johnson fitting into UGA's 3-4. He doesn't have the ideal size for a 3-4 LB.

And this is why anyone who has paid attention the last couple years to what these coaches say about practices under Chizik, they know that its about impossible to get a real read on what is actually going on.

Chiz distrusts the media. Can't say that I blame him much after the Cam circus.

Tigera our coaches are still recruiting him very hard. If they didn't feel we had a shot to flip him we wouldn't be after him Howard so hard. I am not saying.100 percent i say its more like 40 60 in bammers favor at moment.

It was hard to watch last year. It seemed like the entire defense was running in circles at times.

I would love to see the young man get a firm grip on this defense (MLB), if I understand correctly McKinsey would be the next option. Something about a true freshman facing Clemson, State, LSU, and Arkansas scares the hell out of me.

Wouldn't Robinson's eligibility be toast only if 1) he knew about the transcript change or 2)AU was in on it (dear Lord, this better not be true)?

Why are people writing off JR's AU career before anyone knows all the facts?

If his grades were fixed he may not have actually graduated or been able to qualify. He may have to take high school classes if he didn't actually graduate or go JUCO.

That would just mean his AU career would be postponed, not necessarily done.

But honestly, if Robinson has to go the JUCO route, I wouldn't expect him to come back to AU, and maybe that's what others are thinking, too. We've already got Wilkins and Green/Bryant coming in (yes, I think we'll land one of them), and we won't have room in a year or two.

I hope he's able to qualify anyway after things are reviewed, but it isn't looking good.

You answered your own question...

Call me crazy, but coming out of high school, I liked Jovon Robinson better than I like Jordan Wilkins, Greg Bryant, and Derrick Green. I'd love for him to rejoin Auburn after JuCo, if possible. He'd be even more of a beast by then. It really sucks that a great kid like Jovon has to go through this after all the comments we read on him when he couldn't wait to get to Auburn and work hard.

I guess the "great kid" part depends on whether or not he was involved in getting his grades changed. I really hope not, but it's 2012, so nothing is surprising anymore.

Plenty of people saw us getting Foster. Three whole fan bases thought they were getting Foster.
