Agreed, Luper said he had a great Spting, but was overshadowed by the two new eligible guys Blakely and Grant. We will see plenty of the others though. IMO

I appreciate it, I'll put him on my watch list.I drafted Frazier as my qb 4, I think he'll tear up some teams with his running ability, I like Loeffler as an OC from a fantasy football prospective, he uses a lot of qb runs, and usually has a good fantasy RB.Bernard Pierce was a beast last year.

I know it's not recruiting related, more like fantasy football related, but do you guys think Auburn has a main back this year or will it be mainly running back by committee?Who is your bet to break away from the pack and be the main back if someone does?I like McCalebb but I've been hearing good things about Corey Grant and Tre Mason.
If you're going to take an Auburn rb, it should be OMac. He's the only one that is guaranteed to touch the football 10+ times a game. I also look for his receiving yards to jump significantly this year. After him, it's a cluster, and taking any of them would be foolish assuming you play in a 14 pick league. Mason, Blakely, Grant, and Robinson will all push for playing time.

His name is Breneman. And if we can get him, I think we'd take him. We have a spot for another TE, as opposed to none for QB, and he's second to only Howard IMO. He remains committed to PSU though, but does say it's a process and that could change
I want both. We need to take as many QBs as we can. We're hurting at that spot.

AU supposedly contacted brennan the TE commited to PSU today...Could he and CH could be a package deal?
BM said that there are really no PSU players that AU will go after and don't expect them to pursue Hackenburg.

Auburn Undercover is going to analyze the last 4 recruiting seasons, good read. They start with the 2009 class that Chizik put together in a very short period after being hired. Got me to thinking about how we hear from a certain fan base that we do not retain players. In fact it is true that of the number signed, 15 are no longer on the team. 12 remain. But let's look at the numbers, 3 were JUCO and their eligibility is done, 6 did not qualify, 1 went to baseball. So the numbers are that of the players that came to Auburn, only 5 have truly left and 12 remain. I think when you look at the list, it is obvious that the coaches can develop talent AND retain players. In fact of the 20 players that made it to campus 75% will have stayed and completed their eligibility (JUCO, plus Seniors).
Eligibility completed (3):
Fairley (JUCO)
Eltoro Freeman (JUCO)
Demond Washington (JUCO)
----------------------
DID NOT QUALIFY (6)
DL Terrance Coleman.
DL Josh Jackson.
CB Taikwon Paige.
DB Izauea Lanier.
DB Reggie Taylor.
WR LaVoyd James.
RB Brandon Jacobs. Signed baseball contract.
No Longer on Team (6) players
OL Aubrey Phillips.(Included by Scout/247 as part of class)
RB Dontae Aycock.
LB Harris Gaston.
QB Tyrik Rollison.
OL Andre Harris.
TE/QB Robert Cooper (Not included by scout/247)
Juniors or Seniors, still on team(12)
WR DeAngelo Benton
WR Emory Blake.
LB Daren Bates.
RB/WR Anthony Morgan.
DT Jamar Travis.
DE Nosa Eguae.
WR Travante Stallworth.
QB Clint Moseley.
OL John Sullen.
DE Dee Ford.
LB Jonathan Evans.
Sr. TE Philip Lutzenkirchen.
Sr. CB T'Sharvan Bell (Class of 2008).

Ford, Moseley, and Eguae are all redshirt juniors. Morgan might be also.

Aycock and Rollinson are totally out of football now.

Also Phillips was not in the signing class. He was a transfer from FSU.
Robert Cooper should be in his place on the list. He signed as QB/TE in 2009. Left team due to concussion issues.
I'd say that 12 of 17 is a pretty dang good retention ratio. Don't recall Tubs having 71% of a signing class become seniors.

I've been impressed with our recruiting since Chiz and Co showed up. We are getting better talent than we ever did under Tubs and we are keeping the talent we get. That's a good combination.

Considering the circumstances, the 2009 class turned out pretty good... one first rounder (nick fairley), but a bunch of solid college guys who played a major role in winning a national championship.

2010 Recruiting Class-- I think I have this correct which means 75% either have no eligibility left or are still on the team.

CB Chris Davis and OL Chad Slade are missing from the current player list.
JUCO OT Rozell Gayden is missing from the processed list.
RaRa White should be on the No Longer on Team list.
These list are not very good. No offense.

The biggest difference(other than Tubs last two horrible years) is that we're getting pretty much every player qualified. We basically had a juco farm system while Tuberville was here.

Corrected...No offense, but I think the list are pretty good. Shows were players have gone, etc... Yes their was the omissions you mentioned for 2010, but for 2009, I used the 247 list.

I thought Bonomolo gave up football, but was still on campus completing his degree? That's not processed IMO.

DeLo Benton is bitching about Auburn on his Facebook. I wish we would process that retard.

Isn't this year his last year? Let him ride the bench watching Blake, Bray, Reed, and Coates tear it up.
And all that junk about the "family" thing being crap? Don't get me wrong, I hate that campaign thing as much as anyone, but when you're in the middle of every single major problem coming out of that football team, I wouldn't expect to be getting much heppin'.
