Mathews seemed pretty shocked his boy didn't let him know about the AU thing. From the start he said they would play together, but I'm not sure anymore. Way to early to tell on Scarbrough, I would love to have a big back like that though.

TM knew what his friend was doing. I don't believe for one second that he was shocked. Does that mean we will get TM? No.

Sounds to me like he's getting his info from message boards. If Lawson spit on a pizza then i find him to be a gross person, but really could care less when it comes to "character issues" that everyone wants to point to when its a recruit not committed to your school.

I think this weekend is big in getting or not getting Matthews. We'll see how it pans out, but I think Georgia has the slight upper-hand.

The bolded part was from someone elses tweet FWIW. I saw it yesterday from some girl and tried to figure out when Lawson was ever commited to UA and when did he ever visit UA. Maybe someone can refresh my memory.

The only thing I think he was shocked at was the press conference. He knew he was an Auburn lean

Also FWIW Redfish said in May that he thought Foster would flip and to AU, just as DM did. RF has chats throughout the week and everyone he is asked about RF and has been saying for while it did not look good for UA to keep Foster.

I believe he visted, but he was not committed ever to UA. Unless it was one of those super secret silent commits like nkemdiche

Why I did not understand the original tweet from the girl. It made no sense. He starting getting offers and commited to AU pretty quick.

Just to add to that, he said his info was based on a friend working The Opening who witnessed what happened first hand. He said there was 1 slice of pizza left, several people were debating on who should get it, and CL spit on it, but that wasn't why he was sent home. He was sent home for the way he reacted when the Nike staff attempted to discipline him. TIFWIW

Apparently Carl was trying to get after the white women working for NIKE too. They didn't take too kindly to some of the sexually explicit comments he was making.
Can't fault the kid there though.

Scarbrough's family refuted the talk that he's related to Foster. He did pushed his commitment date back, but I don't think AU made it into the final four. Georgia is the leader for now.
