Is Lawson a sure bet to play DE? I know BVG is adamant about recruiting bigger more physical LB's and lawson seems to be athletic enough to stand up in college

Moving him to LB was initially considered, but after seeing him dominate at DL lately, he'll stay there

Tha frick is this shite?

At cornerback, Auburn is looking to sign two. With Kamryn Melton already on board, that means the Tigers can afford to be very selective in choosing their second corner. Two cornerback targets visited Big Cat -- Jonathan Cook from Spanish Fort (Ala.) High and Cameron Sutton from Jonesboro (Ga.) High -- but neither are in-line for an offer in the near future.

...BOOM!

quote:

**Signing Day is still eight months away but if it was today, I think Auburn would sign a couple of its high-profile targets including 5-star defensive tackle Montravius Adams and 5-star linebacker Reuben Foster. I also think Howard would stick with his Bama commit and Dee Liner would definitely stick with Auburn. Still a long way to go on all those guys, however. The key for Auburn and Foster is keeping him at Auburn High School. He’s very happy in Auburn but remains under a lot of pressure to transfer elsewhere.

What are some other Cliffs from today's recruiting notes from BM? Anybody? TIA.

And as for the pressure on RF, is he getting the pressure to transfer from the 'Bama folks just to get away from AU? Or is there some other legitimate reason?

And FTR, BM is a straight shooter. He's the anti-Jeff Lee/Hoke.

He nailed just about every guy that eventually signed with us last year and the ones who were going elsewhere.

You're thinking of Jeff Lee at Rivals.

Then I am happy he conditioned his statement with "if it was today".

2014 Safety Ronnie Clark is a heavy AU lean. He expects 2014 LB Shaun Hamilton to be our next commit. He thinks our next 2013 commit could be Lemond Johnson.

Everything else is kinda old news.
