FWIW the academic success of the program including APR has been a pretty effective recruiting pitch for us over the last couple years. We've been moving up in APR every year and could find ourselves tops in the SEC in a few more years. And the best part about APR scores coming out is this article full of butthurt written by Auburn blogger Phillip Marshall: LINK

Can't help but wonder if PM would have the same opinion if Auburn was towards the top of the conference in APR instead of towards the bottom

You know the answer. If the roles were reversed, he would be writing about the importance of maintaining the balance between athletics and academics, while simultaneously taking a shot at us for only caring about winning unlike the Fambly.
