I really like what we have coming back on offense. A very experienced OL to go along with a second year starting QB and another great RB. I think with AJ having more experience we might be able to utilize the WR's more, notably Norwood, Bell, White, and hopefully Duron Carter. The defense should also be very good. The DL should be solid once again and I don't think we should see too much of a drop off from our LB corps, especially if Mosley comes back healthy. Our DB's might take a step back after losing Dre and Barron, but I think guys like Sunseri, Dixon, Belue, Fulton, HaHa, Jarrick, and Perry will all contribute nicely. We have a lot to look forward to next year.

If we can garner mediocre NG play then we could be special.
That's the only thing I'm remotely worried about. I hope they search high and low on the roster for one, no matter what side of the ball he's on.
I've actually heard rumors about Pagan at NG, and not in a Genrty sort of role. I have heard Love in a Gentry role though...

Some compare 2012 to 2010, but I don't see it being that similar. More experience in the secondary, an experienced DL save NG, and I never worry about LBs. One of the best OLs and experience at QB. WRs will be inexperienced, but they are talented. And even if the under perform, that's been the trademark of the last 2 NC receiving corps.
I'm kinda worried about the pass rush. Not really sure where it will come from next season.

I expect a heavy rotation past the #1 WR, IF a #1 emerges. Bama could roll like the Steelers do, their #2, #3, and #4 WRs can switch in and out of Flanker and the Slot.
And RTR Saint

We should be just fine with Jesse at NG for the time being. I just don't see Ivory being ready and Pagan, Dial and Fanning are DE's all the way. Alphonse Taylor and Darren Lake could grow into good NG's but are definitely not ready yet.

Can I post the new Wall of Vicitms here?

We will have excellent LBer play and will cover for the D-Lines shortcomings. We signed the best DB class in the country with two JUCO ALL-Americans. We will have superb end play. The only shortfall will be the NG spot, but Brandon Ivory could make us all look stupid.

Someone needs to tell the architects of that pyramid that the logo used went out-of-date 10 years ago.

Taylor enrolled early. His chances at PT depend on how his conditioning progresses. He doesn't need to grow more though. He's already as big as Fluker.

Just for that tard mess I hope we hang 60 bajillion on you or mercy knee you 12 straight times with LSU having only a 2 TD lead. Idk which would hurt you more, but I'm so mad right now.

Michigan doesn't use that logo anymore

True, Bama lost all 3 of their key passrushing components (Upshaw, Hightower, Genrty). I think having experienced lineman on the edges will help the new starters though.
I would like to see them put Hubbard at SAM, unless he just kills it at JACK, because he's been crosstrained at both OLB positions. Gives more versatility and more potential pass rush. I know Saban follows a specific 34 scheme with his SAM, unlike LeBeau who utilizes 2 well rounded passrushers at OLB.
Being so complete in every aspect just makes that tandem scary, they are just as good at runstopping as they are passrushing...

I posted in Saint's thread on the other board about JW at NG. Tons of questions about his lower body holding up at NG and rumors about him not wanting to play there and that being a stipulation for his return this year.

But this thread is for recruiting. Lets get back to that.

Yeah, I meant mentally. 10 pounds more and he'll be as big as Mount Cody at the Draft Combine.

Jason Smith's visit per Rivals:
* Been on campus plenty of times, only really went to talk to Saban
* Really excited about the offer
* Offered a shot at QB, talked about WR and DB with Saban too
* Pitched him the "Blake Sims" position QB/Slot
* Comfortable at Bama
* Will take his time
* Returning to Bama in for spring ball and A-Day

He sounds more interested than initially thought.
